Comment:

Dr. Baack is such a character and he's very sarcastic so his lectures were quite entertaining. This class is at night so he tries to make it conversational to keep you from falling asleep. There is no homework, just 3 tests all short answer plus a commutative final. He lectures by mouth and theres no book. Its a challenge but worth it.

I took his Management & Organizational Behavior night class and it was a bit hard, only because the grade you get is based on his 5 exams. His exams arent multiple choice so you absolutely have to study hard & attend lectures. The good thing is he gives you a study guide with what the test will be, so easy A if you go to class/study notes.

Pretty good professor but lectures seem to drag on. He knows his stuff and you can tell he has experience. Class relies on note taking and memorization. If you can do those two things, you will get an A.

(Fall of 2017) First day of class said: "I hope I don't have education majors in here, because I'm sorry, but this is not a real career" So, take that character example as you will. Lectures are routine, which is handy for memorization. No visual aid (not even PowerPoint) or class involvement. Very difficult if you are a poor auditory learner.

Boring class that is just him giving a lecture the whole time. There is no homework only 4 tests and a cumulative final. He gives a study that has the whole test on it, you just have to take the time and memorize it.

Grades are based solely on exams only. No participation or attendance. He does seldom give extra credit for being there when just about no one else is. NO CELL PHONES he'll drop or fail you immediately once he see's hears a cell phone. I always shut mine off before class, not risking it. He's a good guy though, kind of funny too. Recommend.

Dr. Baack was so funny. He is a real gem. His class was very informational and he gives a great study guide before the exams. Yah, you have to memorize, but it's not terribly difficult. Take this class. He always lets you out early, and attendance is not mandatory. I have learned a lot from this class. 10/10 would take again

I excpected a lot from this class. But in my opinion this teacher was just here for the show. Plus exams where so easy that it's wondering if it wouldn't be easier for him to give you an A+ straight away. He gives you questions prior the exam. It's all about learning by heart points 1-2-3, nothing about actually learning useful material !

I liked Dr. Baack and his Adv. Org. course; however, I didn't like his tests. Tests are comprised of short answer questions with an essay question at the end. The material itself isn't difficult to understand. The difficult part is memorizing the study guide.

Great teacher! Funny and very smart. Attend class and take good notes you will need your notes. Hands out study guides with questions on them to help you study for Exams. All memorization. Very nice teacher too he is very understanding and kind even though he may not seem like it.

If Dr. Baack was as smart as he thinks he is, he would figure out a way to get very useful information across to his students without having them memorize his very dry, dated, and sometimes incorrect lectures word for word. If you don't memorize them word for word you won't do well on his exams.

Baack has a of experience and lectures completely from memory. He has some pretty hilarious dry humor -- pretty light hearted. He gives you a study guide (copy of the test) before each test. That being said, success in this class depends on rogue memorization. Tests are completely fill in the blank, plus essay. Tests are extremely difficult.

AMAZING TEACHER!! light hearted! tells you how it is and hows its gonna be first day of class, makes class interesting and enjoyable! Humorous and tells great personal life stories that relate to class material. Extremely intellegent!

Great professor! Very entertaining lectures. He goes through the info pretty quickly, but explains it well. Hands out study guides before each test that have the exact test questions on it. Don't need the textbook either. This class is an easy A.

Favorite class of the whole semester. I knew exactly what to expect each and every day because there were no surprises! I've found that thanks to his examples, his class has saved my butt in other classes because I actually remember a lot of what he taught. Always an interesting class.
