I loved professor Smith. Our class was asynchronous, but he would always check in to see how we were doing periodically throughout the course. We only had two weeks of actual lectures and in that time I loved the balance of course content and the experiences he has had/real-life examples. He is an understanding and caring professor!

This is simply the best class Ive taken in my LIFE. Jeff is one of the most approachable and kind humans you'll ever meet. For Geography of Middle America, you show up to class, take solid notes, and you'll decimate the take-home tests. Strongly considering taking more classes from him, solely because how enjoyable this class was.

Jeffrey is a fantastic professor! There is no required book or attendance in this class. However, he will take attendance points randomly every now and then. He doesn't post PowerPoints online, so go to class or get notes if you can't make it. All tests and quizzes are online as well. Super friendly and personable and makes learning geography easy!

I never got bored during lecture because Jeff actually makes the material interesting. He is by far my favorite professor I've ever had, and I believe he's one of the best one campus he's just that good. His lectures are fun, entertaining, and not just him reading off facts. Also, all of the tests are online, so just take notes and you'll be good!!

Jeff was my favorite professor from the semester. This class was extremely easy and as long as you take notes in class, the tests (which are all online) are a breeze. There is no homework nor is a textbook needed. Jeff takes a genuine interest in students and is hilarious. Wish I had him for all my classes.

Jeff is one of the best teachers on campus. He loves Geography and knows a lot about it. All of his tests are online and can be looked up but it'll be easier if you go to class and take notes. Overall he's amazing, his lectures are funny, and go to class or not and you'll do great. Easy A class but it's amazing time with a great guy!

Awesome professor. Doesn't post notes online, but if you come to class every day you can get 100% on the tests without much trouble. Plus lectures are usually entertaining, so coming to class isn't too much of a chore

I love Jeff. Hes hilarious and he truly cares about Geography. All the tests and homework are online but they are super easy. You can finish the entire semester homework in about an hour and tests are easy if you go to class. Attendance isnt mandatory so if you dont go yoh can still get a B+. BEST PROFESSOR ON CAMPUS.

Great professor for geog of kansas. Keeps the class interesting with humor and relevant topics. His tests are online and solely based on in class notes which arent posted online so you have to show up. If you show up the tests are very manageable. Would reccomend to anyone who needs a h&ss credit

Jeff is awesome! I actually look forward to coming to class. His lectures are very interesting, and as long as you come to class and take notes you will do great. All of the tests are online and open note. He makes an effort to try to get to know everyone even though its a big class. 10/10 would recommend.

AMAZING! His lectures were engaging and he seemed to really care about helping us learn. My grandpa was terminally ill and I had to go home and miss two classes, but he was very helpful and gave me access to all the notes and even took the time to talk me through them before I left. It was a small gesture, but it meant a lot. Such a nice guy!

Dr. Smith is a nice teacher who cares about everyone in the class. If you show up to class and take notes, you will pass. All exams are online and they're open note. He tries to make the lectures interesting and funny. He is one of the best professors that I have had so far.

Favorite teacher I've had at K-State by far. I never got bored one time during his lectures, and when he talked about controversial topics he was always unbiased. Would recommend to take him for geography.

Dr. Smith is probably THE BEST teacher I have ever had! He is a fun and caring professor, there is extremely clear grading criteria, and his lectures are very clear and interesting! Definitely would recommend him to anybody!
