Comment:
Lynn is a great teacher and a kind women. I really can't say anything but good things about her as a professor or as a person. Very kind hearted and honest. This doesn't mean, however, that she is a push over or a "easy" prof. She will make you work but she is helpful and gives resources to help you succeed.

Not many assignments at all, most of the quizzes are online and then print out to bring to class.

I loved taking intro to Literature with Lynn. She is very understanding. You WILL have to work and ask for help to get a good grade. I recommend sitting in the front row, taking good notes on what she says, and turning those notes into papers. She is very open and profound, so don't be afraid to state your opinion. You WILL need the book.

Lynn is tough, but fair. Her quizzes are very long and in depth. That being said, she encourages open dialogue in her classes and differences of opinion. I have really enjoyed her. She is very helpful! I took this course online and she responds to e-mails in a prompt manner. She has high expectations, but what you put in you will get out. :)

Now don't get me wrong, Lynn knows her stuff. But if it is your first time dealing with Poetry and forms of Poetry and Literal Perspectives, she is NOT THE ONE to have as a Prof. She is STERN and Will grade you ONLY based on HER OPINION, shows favoritism and does not care too much to help.

She is very clear about exactly how to write your essays. Tests are multiple choice and matching when in-class, and take home quizzes are short answer. She knows what she's talking about, and she makes the class as painless as possible. I definitely recommend her.

Lynn Campbell definitely knows what she is talking about and is very helpful when you go to her for help. However, her quizzes are extremely hard and she is a hard grader. She does take home quizzes that you spend hours on and on the in class quizzes she looks for specific things. If its not exactly right she will mark it wrong.

Lynn Campbell is a very open minded teacher. She listen to everyone's interpretations and encourages independent thinking. She doesn't grade very harshly, and she very approachable when it comes to extensions on papers. I highly recommend her for any class.

Lynn was an extremely helpful prof. She was really accommodating to giving extensions on papers. Attendance and class participation are a huge part of the class! The three papers that we wrote in this class were pretty long but she goes over everything that she wants in them during class.

I have her right now. She picks favorites, I'm one of them (yey) but it sucks for a lot of people. You can miss up to 4 classes, but after that a 3% grade drop per class. She goes over everything you need to know for papers. If you write down everything she says and put it into a paper, you'll get an A. Also, participate!

Professor Lynn is a nice teacher, she really helps students understand the material if you need help, she does give out a lot of work but it's not really hard homework. I would recommend taking this class.

Very difficult professor; expects college level work. I appreciated being challenged in her classes. Very approachable and intelligent. Attendance is mandatory and rules are enforced. Overall great COLLEGE LEVEL professor.

Do not take her! She does not invite creativity into her classroom. For example, you could write a paper but receive a bad grade just because "she doesn't agree". Terrible. I'm glad I took it pass/fail.

Comment:
Dr. Campbell sufficiently introduces the foundations of literary analysis by discussion. Unfortunately, Dr. Campbell plays autocrat better than moderator as she will cut a student off in mid sentence. The class is useful if the material is new to you. She can be fun but just expect a dominating opinion.

Not bad but she's picky. If you don't understand something ask. The final projects the big one pick a topic that she likes rather than one you want.

Lynn is a nice teacher but an extremely hard grader. She does pick her favorites, and as long as you are her favorite you will do god on her papers. To get an A or B make sure you read all the readings and got to her office hours for all the papers she assigned.
