Prof. Thull is an outstanding professor. I actually understand things in his lectures, unlike most classes where I teach myself. He goes through problems slowly, step by step and welcomes questions. If you having trouble he will go above and beyond to help. The class has standards instead of grades, which is great if you keep on top of things.

I thought his class was really great, he is super nice and very respectful when answering questions and is always willing to go back and explain something you didn't understand. I would definitely take his class again.

Greg Thull has been the best professor I have had for a math class EVER. Super kind and seems quirky and quiet at first, but he is really so nice and helpful when it comes to any difficulties you are having with the class. Easy to do well if you attend class and participate in the group discussions.

Professor Thull is a good choice. Personally, I was not a fan of his teaching style as I have learned the same topics in easier ways. He is very smart and knows what he is teaching though! His tests were pretty hard compared to lecture notes & webwork. Quizzes & webwork every week. He allows you to weight your own homework, tests, quizzes, etc!

Greg is Love, Greg is life, Grag is an absolute legend. Even if youre trash at math (like me) he is available to help. If he notices you struggling in class he will help you. His class is hard but not unreasonable. His notes arent gibberish and he really cares about his students. Actually the best prof Ive ever had. Take his class!

Love this man. I took him for Math 124 and he made it really easy to understand. You go through packets every day and he works through each problem. Def take him. I also went to the tutoring center and had a weekly tutor which made the class so much easier.

Greg is the man. He makes everything super clear, and posts tests from previous years to help your studying (use them!). All around great guy, an introvert, but he teaches just fine, so I have no complaints about Prof Thull.

Prof. Thull is an amazing professor. I would highly recommend taking his class. The online work that is given to you requires you to look up solutions to complete it, but otherwise alright. I did not understand most of the teachings and I always asked him questions, I highly recommend that you ask him questions. Even if they seem dumb to ask.

Take this class in summer. Have 6 portfolio problems, 6 quizzes, 1 midterm and 1 final. Quizzes and exams are easy, the problems come from the practice problems in the books. Use 2 free, online books. The portfolio problems are easy too. Easy A.

Professor Thull was really helpful at explaining if you didn't understand something. Lecture notes were taken via a blank packet he handed out and went through on the board. Before an exam he would post exams used previous years to BB and these were incredibly useful, make sure to study those closely. I would highly recommend taking Thull for 302

Thull is a pretty good teacher. He does what is expected of him, but expects the student to independently learn through the notes. It is a typical math class so no real complaints or compliments. Has online homework due every Sunday, and actively does in class exercises for credit, so attendance is recommended. No textbook necessary.

Thull was probably the best prof I've ever had. He was so helpful and so laid back. You do little assignments in groups at the end of most classes but he was always willing to help you until you understood it and finished the assignment. He also dropped a couple of your lowest 5 pt quizzes which was nice.

The biggest problem with him is that he can be a bit boring at times but hes a good teacher. He goes to pretty great lengths to answer any question thats asked and goes in depth with the coarse material. I you show up and pay attention youll do fine.

Professor Thull was one of my favorite professors! He made lectures interesting and made it easy to learn. If you ever had any questions, he wouldn't stop until you fully understood. He was very clear about what was and wasn't on tests. If you can take him, do it!

Greg was an awesome professor who took over my section halfway through the semester. His lectures were organized and effective, and he answered questions clearly. His tests were somewhat difficult but he prepares you for them since he is such a great prof. He doesn't assign a ton of hw like lots of math profs, and provides help in and outside class

By far the best math professor I have ever had. I have never been strong at math but he made me feel super confident on all tests and going into the final I have an A in the class. I wish all my math classes were taught by him. He explains things once and then asks if there are any questions. If you do the work you will get an A.

Awesome professor. Answers questions better than any other professor I have every had. I stopped doing the suggested homework halfway through the semester and his lectures were so good that I still got an A. He makes hard math easy. Take him if you get the chance!

Comment:
This class was very manageable with Prof. Thull. There were a number of Webwork and in class quizzes, but these were useful in learning the material. He's very approachable and helpful when you have questions, and is a fair grader. Having guided notes in class was a plus as well.
