If you have never taken stats in your life, I DONT recommend you start with EVANS. In respect the comments below, she is not a very nice person, although she claims she cares for her students. It's true, she belittles, makes rude remarks, and makes you feel stupid and know nothing. TAKE STATS 211 with ROONEY during spring if you HAVE TO!

She needs to try and actually help students in class when she teaches not individually. She's extremely disorganized, she doesn't explain concepts clearly at all and then expects you to know everything magically when the test comes around. No wonder most people fail this class!

The class is passable. She will help those who ask, but you need to keep up with the readings in order to make sense of the material. She has learned to control her condescending nature and is understanding and encouraging.

Terrible Prof. One of her 211 classes started with 20 people and by the end of the semester had 3 people left. She is rude and very negative. The only reason I passed the course was because I taught myself from the textbook.

I loved Evans even though I didnt do that well the fact that i got higher than a C made me really happy. She isnt there to babysit and does expect you to know your stuff we are in university so reading the material before should be expected. She was helpful and understanding. Of course its a hard class the psych program is very competitive.

this woman is awful, i do not care if a teacher is not nice, but the total lack of respect for any human being she displays is horrible. thankfully i heard she is down to just one class this term, and this should lead her to leave the school or retire soon. for the statistics credit i reccomend soc210

Dr. Evans is a perfect example of what teachers should not be like. She makes fun of students, she is rude and really doesn't care about the students. She has been known tomake students cty and the really sad part is the College doesn't care.

WORST TEACHER EVER!! If you wanna feel small, stupid, and like to be belittled take this class. She is mean to her students. The only reason why she has a job at this school is because her daddy gives lots of money to Concordia. She requests her own book, and then thinks its funny that she has so many mistakes in it. ADVOID HER LIKE THE PLAGUE

The worst class I have ever taken. If I could tell future Psyc students one thing it would be try not to take stats with Dr. Evans. She thinks a 52% average on an exam is great and the class isn't on the curve.

Very amusing to note, she brought doughnuts for the class on the day when she handed out the teacher evaluation forms. Hmmm.. Clearly without doubt the worst prof. at Concordia.
