If you want an online teacher that doesn't grade any of your assignments and never responds to emails, take her. She loves to take weeks or almost a month to grade each assignment and emails back days later around midnight.

If you want to learn about Air Traffic Control, don't take this class. She teaches you Commercial Pilot material for some odd reason, and does nothing but gloat about her glory days as a Saab pilot (big, whoop). Can't even figure out how to use SkyVector. It's an easy class but she's a terrible professor overall and thinks she knows everything.

I took her SYS class and I'm so glad I did! I learned more in this class (and enjoyed it) more than any other. She's obviously passionate about aviation. I took the online class and it was easy to follow and succeed. Had a little trouble with expectations for report - but I did good! You will do well if you enjoy writing and can write well.

One of the most disorganized teachers I have ever had. She doesn't let you know your grade or even show up to class on time. Assignments are given a "loose" due date. Just overall very unstructured and she certainly plays the Favorites card. DO NOT TAKE.

This is easily my least favorite class there is no direction to the class and she is always late for the class which only meets once a week. Her writing requirements for the class are a little ridiculous. I have no idea what my grade is and she does not respond to email well. I would not recommend this course.

It's hard to be a bad online teacher but she managed to do it. Doesn't post any grades and took 2 months to return our first paper. Takes a long time to respond to emails. At the end of the semester I didn't know if I was gonna get a C or an A. Don't get any of the books

I also had Cote for safety, wx, and air carrier ops. For the students who say she is moody-she only gets mad when students talk a lot in class or don't do the homework reading. She gives you the info but she expects you to read on your own, too. Her syllabus explains all the hw and due dates.It is all on blackboard. Just follow the directions!

Cote goes out of her way to help students. Those who say she makes you study the book is because the FAA test bank is what you have to know. She explains what the FAA test is actually asking. She goes over them in class, too. This is a class with a lot of material to learn. The student has to put in the time to learn it. She is awesome.

Your learning is all based on whether or not she is in a good mood or not. She was always late to class by like 30 minutes. Expect to do all the learning on your own studying the "blue book" by asa. I would not recommend this teacher. Bad experience.

Your final grade really depends on how much she likes you. Grading is super inconsistent. Class can be a drag. Her insight about her professional experience is a nice touch. I wish she taught more like Prof. Sloan (simple straight facts.)

I have had her for weather, safety and now air carrier ops. I do not recommend this teacher. She is very unorganized, talks about her career a lot and expects you to teach everything to yourself via homework that she doesn't tell you about. The final grade i believe is totally based on her opinion of you... definitely has favorites

Cote is the (wo)MAN! There isn't a better prof to introduce you to AVSC. She made it all crystal clear. When a concept wasn't clear, she would stay for hours after class to review. Deff has the most generous office hours too. She is really funny and has plenty of stories to supplement what we talk about in class. You can't go wrong with this prof!

Easily the best ground school instructor at the college! She will go out of her way to help any of her students. She routinely holds extra help hours for her students and CFI candidates are invited to help out! It is a great way to build more teaching experience. Prof Cote will always be there for her students, I will miss her!

Prof. Cote is the best prof at Bridgewater State College. I learned alot about the aviation industry because she has loads of real life experience. She always tells stories that pertain to safety and flying. She also goes way out of her way to help her students in anyway she can. Take all of her classes you wont regret it =)

Coming from a big university and transferring into her class to take the same class over I was unimpressed.She doesnt explain enough that I feel I've heard more about at ground school at other airports.Makes student rely on books to learn on their own.Lots of stories about when she was a pilot-gets boring/annoying.
