She is very hard to understand due to her French accent. She does not post grades until after you take the last exam, so you don't know your grade. Homework is difficult and takes a long time. She makes the class purchase a textbook that she wrote herself and also makes no sense. Probably the WORST professor I have ever had at CNU. AVOID

Frucot is a straightforward professor, and she comes off as blunt at times, but this isn't an issue. My problem is the notes, which are more of circles and lines than notes. Her explanations are wordy and sometimes Youtube was needed to get through the material. Lastly, tests are difficult... but certainly manageable if you really take the time!

A hard class with lots of online assignments. More course work than other classes. Her tests are hard. The short answer is easy since it is the same thing as the study guide but the multiple choice is hard and specific. Do not waste your time going to office hours, she would not answer questions and acted smart. I am a studious polite student too.

Professor Frucot is very straight forward and isn't afraid to tell things the way she sees them. She can sometimes come off as harsh but she is very well-meaning and always is willing to help her students. Her classes are test and lecture heavy but that is the nature of accounting and not so much her teaching.

Worst effing Professor Ive ever had. To sum it up, one time she laughed AT us for not knowing something. Called students out in class if they had a bad grade. Ex: JOHN you should listen to this so you get it right on the final. Never hated a class more. Give her a death glare every time I see her around campus. No shame

One of the hardest classes Ive ever had to take. She makes you buy her notes which are vague and your grade is only based on 3 tests + final which are weighted heavily. If you miss a class, expect to be lost when you get back because she moves on the next day. She talks quickly and has a rude, condescending attitude when no one participates too.

Comment:
Typically she can't stop saying the word typically. French accent is mostly annoying, but you can understand it. Hardest class ever just because the tests are weighted so heavily. Gives out a sample exam which is a lifesaver, but will barely get you a B. Take this class is you want to pull out your hair for an entire semester

Dr. Frucot is a good and clear professor. Her class can be quite boring and challenging, but that is more of a function of the nature of the subject matter. Her tests are rough, but she gives you a study guide that has the same format as the test. If you struggle with the content, she is incredibly helpful during her office hours.

Dr. Frucot is a delightful professor. She has clear expectations of what you need to learn, and she is very helpful in office hours if you need clarification on a topic. The study guides are perfect study tools for the exams. While I did enjoy her class, this class can be a little boring and I disliked how much each test was weighted.

She makes you buy the notes for her class which makes it so much harder to learn and pay attention. The notes she makes us buy don't help with the problems at all. She is very rude to our class and generally has a bad attitude.

Frucot gives you the entire semester's notes on the first day, and teaches an entire chapter every couple of classes. While Frucot doesn't take attendance, she does cover a lot of material each class and you can end up falling behind really quickly. She also gives you example exams before each of the 3 tests, which are great study tools.

Honestly, my best teacher at cnu to date. Clear, considering, straightforward. Her study guides are the test. If you know the study guide alone up and back, a high A on her tests are to be expected. Use the study guide!

I think she is an amazing teacher, her accent takes a little to get used to but she knows accounting very well and is more than willing to help you with questions. She also gives practice exams before each test which help a lot. Definatly take her!

Not good. Has an accent and talks quickly without being clear about anything. Takes points off for silly, inconsequential things. can be very patronizing, which makes it hard to ask questions. Not very helpful. Knows the material, just isn't very good at teaching it, and doesn't have any redeeming qualities.

Frucot knows accounting well. Study the course pack more than the textbook. Only compliant, the Excel project. You basically write out the formula to calculate present and future values. This is something that is "built-in" to Excel so I didn't see the point of it. Why reinvent the wheel? Totally useless exercise. Lets learn Act, not programming!

Prof. Frucot is not the easiest, but certainly not too terribly hard. She can go a little quickly, but is always sure to ask if there is any questions, ASK! She is fairly helpful, though she doesn't always understand what you are asking and can occasionally seem condescending. She is pretty straight forward though, which is definitely a positive.

She's not a very good teacher. I dont know if the course itself is hard, but she is definitly not a very good teacher. She goes really fast and gets cranky if you dont answer her questions. Def. don't take her for tuesday/thursday classes because they seem even faster.

cont'd from previous: that she'll automatically think you are skipping class. I have never had a professor that I wasn't able to adapt to their personality until now...I honestly do not know what professor the people had below me that was so friendly but it was definately NOT her! DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS...she is terrible!!!

By far the WORST professor I've ever had....period. Her classes consist of reading off of printed class notes and making her students feel worthless & mindless if they ever ask a question. Not even the least bit helpful during office hours. Takes attendance sometimes but sit in the same place every class b/c she is so unobservant...
