He is the worst! Took moral rights and he blamed everything wrong in the world on certain ethnic groups! He will make fun of you in class for having trouble! He expects most of his class to fail, not just the tests, but the whole class! DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!

I enjoy his old school style of teaching. He makes students take responsibility for their work. His sarcasm is amazing and I can appreciate it, being an older student. Be ready to take notes, come to class on time, and be ready to work! Will recommend him to students that are willing to do the work! If you are lazy, don't bother.

Great professor! Attendance is mandatory if you want a good grade. Take notes and study them for the tests. Old-school/ traditional. Interesting topics covered -should be a required class for psych majors as well! It would all some good to have a better understanding of that area to keep with them in life.

rOSENBAUM DOES NOT GIVE OUT A SYLLABUS. WANTS STUDENTS TO LEAN ON HIM WHEN HE HAS OFFICE HOURS AT 7:30 A.M. AND HALF THE TIME YOU HAVE TO WAIT ON HIM THAT EARLY IN THE MORNING. IT IS LIKE HE HATE THE VERY STUDENTS WHO PAY HIS SALARY. WHAT A MESSED UP SYSTEM THIS IS!! HE TELLS YOU THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS THERE ISN'T ASSIGNMT BUT ACTUALLY THERE IS.

I was a little intimidated at first, as the class went on it got easier. Didnt open the text once. Tests are fair, coming to class is a must he bases all his exams on his class lectures. Fair grading. Overall great professor, would definitely recommend!

Best professor I have ever had. Very organized and prepared, attention to detail, and sense of humor. Showing up to class is mandatory as exams are based on lectures. Any student that shows up and takes good notes should get at least a B.

Very informational. I learned alot from his class. Hes always trying to lighten the mood with jokes. Very helpful if you need help! Tests are multiple choice, short answer and usually 2 essays-But they're really not that bad if you study. Coming to class is a must b/c his exams are based of his notes. Overall great guy. Would definitely recommend.

Probably one of the most memorable professors I have had yet. His lectures kept me interested. Difficult class for the most part, but I learned plenty. Would definitely recommend even if he isn't that easy of a professor.

Excellent teacher, but difficult. He is 100% unbiased in his lectures; the comments that claim otherwise are just inferior students that just couldn't cut it. The book is useless, he goes over all material in his lectures. If he doesn't mention it in class, he takes it off of the test. I encourage his class only to those that have an interest inPHL

Excellent class that is well paced, structured, and consistently on topic. Three exams that include MC, Fill-in, and short answer. One 5 page paper based on a book (On Liberty). Very helpful and encouraging professor. Attendance highly recommended (book hardly used). Anything on exam taken from lectures. No exam during Finals week.

I have to say, I now attend NYU after spending last semester at Cleveland State, and Prof. Rosenbaum's class is still in my mind! I'm taking a philosophy esque course right now and it doesn't compare to how great of a course this was. Highly recommend. You'll learn an obscene amount. Using my notes from CSU right now for my final exam here!

This course was extremely interesting. Attendance is very important because the tests are all based on the lectures. He's a really good professor, and those who say he's not did not come to class and did not pay attention. I would definitely recommend taking this class - only if you're going to show up and pay attention! A+ overall

I disagree with the religious statements, he voices the opinions of philosophers, not his own and makes that very clear. The lectures were interesting, and if you show up to class and take notes you will have no problems on tests. People who hate him didn't go to class and didn't pay attention when occasionally attending. Definitely worth taking!

This was an extremely interesting course. If philosophy and history are not things you are interested in, then you will not like it. Professor was interesting and well-prepared for courses. Lots of students do not show up to class - that's CSU for you. Those people hated the class because they got bad grades.
