One of the two or three best lecturers I ever had. Dennis made economics approachable and interesting for the non-major, and coming to class a lot of fun.

Prof. Sullivan really knows his stuff. Funny guy, VERY knowledgeable on economics. Tests are difficult, but if you study, and actually understand what he teaches you, you can succeed in 201. Definitely one of the best teachers at Miami.

I have him for Econ 201 which I've heard horror stories about before, but he makes the class very understandable and is very fair. Econ 201 is a tough course but if you have to take it, I definitely recommend him.

Probably one of the best teachers I've ever had. Not an easy class, especially if you aren't a business major, but definitely interesting. Mr. Sullivan teaches with great enthusiasm and really wants to help his students in any way he can. I highly recommend him!!

Not sure if he actually takes attendance, but he makes this class very enjoyable. Imagine a condensed and edited version of microeconomics half the semester and a non-biased examination of poverty. Very interesting and funny, I recommend.

Dr. Sullivan is a very nice guy. He's funny and he tries to make the work interesting. However the class is really tough. There is A TON of reading and if you dont keep up you're screwed. On average i would say about 20-30 paes of reading a night. He also makes his exams very very hard.

He is really funny and tries to make the information he is presenting (which is dull!) interesting. I really enjoyed his class, but his tests are very hard. I would suggest taking this class as credit/no credit.

Dr. Sullivan is a great guy, very smart and very passionate..well definatly remind you of the guy from the Princess Bride who says "inconceivable" all the time.. But the class is extremely difficult, and his tests are very hard. i had to drop it. Don't take this class unless you need it or have an extreme love for economics.

Do not take this class, unless someone is pointing a gun at your head and tells you to take the class, or they will kill you. He classes were boring, and he made his exams harder than they should be.

He sometimes makes things more confusing than they have to be, and the exam questions are not direct. It is not enough to just read the material and understand, you really have to be able to apply it. If you are good at thinking about things from an economic perspective then take it, but otherwise, it is really hard so don't take it.

While the class was very challenging, Dr. Sullivan helped to keep the class interested with his hilarious personality and good naturedness. Dr. Sullivan is one of the most intelligent professors I have encountered and he knows the subject that he teaches.

I personally think Dr. Sullivan is one of the best teachers I've ever had. He honestly cares for his students and cares that they learn all of the information. He's tough, his exams are tough, but he's fair. I don't recommend him if you're looking for an easy grade, but if you're looking for a first rate professor, Dr. Sullivan's your man.

This is a class that is very hard to stay awake in. It may have been i took it at 9 in the morning, but he isn't that interesting. He grades fairly, but the test are hard. To his credit though, he provides help sessions durring the week, and you have to go to them or you probably won't pass this class.
