Comment:
Frequent mistakes in his own work. Very moody and hard to understand. He's not interested in your problems no matter what they may be. I feel like hew was once a good teacher because he's pretty smart but has lost the ability to effectively relay his knowledge onto students. Also zero interest in students. Perhaps time to retire

The man stands up at the board explaining around half a problem then doesn't write out the whole thing. does not make it through all material that is needed for homework. The test are completely different from the online work and when he grades if one thing is wrong the whole problem is. If you don't solve his way its the high way for you.

Extremely unhelpful and at times rude. Unable to effectively teach. Ive learned everything I know online or from peers. One on one sessions not helpful. Can be condescending. I would say the worst teacher I have had.

This is the worst teacher i have ever had in my career as a student. Does not teach at all and mumbles to himself and has an attitude every single class. Hard grader and does problems his own way and expects you to know how to do it.

This man is a disgrace to the teaching profession. When asked to explain an incorrect answer on an exam he replied "because I said it is". He shows no investment in his students or teaching whatsoever. Clearly he should have retired long ago.

Not effective. Appears burnt out on subject. Offers assistance, but you'll find many people withdrawing from class because of his mundane teaching mannerisms.

Comment:
Terrible math instructor. He gave all his notes through old power point slides. He teaches more math "concepts" than how to solve problems. He uses the book only for homework and a lot of the problems don't relate to his power points. He also dismisses class an hour early every week, and then when people started failing he blamed the students.

Sears is a very good professor who makes a difficult class easy by giving exams based on our homework. TG for that, otherwise I'd be one confused student. And, by doing so, I'll always remember what I need to know. Takes a genius to figure out how to get students to retain info, now doesn't it!

He is the best Math teacher at 4Cs, he does not use math as a weapon or make people feel like idiots. I think he uses both sides of his brain, unlike many of the aliens that work in the math department. He is interested in the subject matter and the student.
