Sannuti is... very unique to say the least. The way he tests you is very different from other engineering proffessors that just copy/format the questions from the back of the textbook *cough* Statics *cough*. His exams are meant to test your understanding, and have little to no calculations. If you really love ECE, you'll breeze through this class

Prof Sannuti is the best. He makes circuit analysis very simple and keeps repeating himself until everyone in class understands. GO TO HIS CLASS! he does a great job lecturing. POP quizzes 9 of them were really easy. Exams are easy also if you read his slides and understand everything.For PE1 prof sannuti is the best.Book not necessary.Read slides!

I cudnt finish my last comment..he is hard of hearing and does not use his hearing aid. That's why whn you ask him a question he asks loudly and is in your face but if you say what you need clearly he is very nice. Don't make stories because it won't work n that's why these ppl get yelled at cuz he knows all the tricks n excuses, he's been teaching since the 70s DO NOT buy the book cuz you won't even need it. He is a great professor. All these people who left comments don't want to work hard and think they are still in highschool thinking they will get easy A. He asks you to do hw almost everyweek. If u do all of it yourself without help and read his notes on ecollege then the first two exams are easy Apluss pluss 100s!! If u don't try n practice with atleast 40 examples which he provides you will fail, as these people did who leave bad comments. If u do all that n get a 65 on the final u still get A

Material isn't bad but class can get really boring. You dont have to go to class. Just do the hw (due almost every class), hand it in and leave. Tests are pretty straight forward. He posts notes that are basically their own textbook so you do NOT need to buy the textbook. If your an electrical engineer, you dont have much of a choice.

He teaches the theory behind the class, while this is what a good professor should do, it does mean you're on your own when it comes to problems. Material isn't nearly as hard as it seems or he makes it out to be. He does cover a lot of material really fast though, so get to class early and start writing. You need to do more than just show up.

Sannuti's teaching's easily comprehensible, but only if you understand what he's talking about... He's a good teacher in terms of teaching-he's always been to the classroom prior to the lecture preparing notes, but he did poorly on generating the interest for the subject he's teaching. like it or not, he's the sum1 u hav 2 go thru if u r studyin EE

his class notes / handouts are very close to what he puts on the test. If you practice the handouts and older tests, there should be no problem. if you go to him for help, and he thinks that you dont care about the course, you will be treated as if you are retarded.. if u go in acting interesting, you will be an angel. just stay on his good side.

I had him for both PEE 1 and PEE 2. I don't know why people don't like him. But he is a really good teacher. He is probably mean to ppl below either cuz they dont go to class/sleep in class. He KNOWS who cares about this class n who doesnt.Make sure you sit in the front and let him know u care.dont leave early during exams he hates it.exams are ok.

This guy will make your sophmore year hell. I considered dropping EE after having this guy. Even, though I personally never had problems with him, all i have heard are horror stories of him in office hours. Good luck with this guy. Exams are fair in both 221+222. However, be aware of final, they are brutal. Study all his notes and HW.
