Extremely boring, has no passion or change in his voice levels. Not willing to listen, has so many textbooks, an impossible class to deal with, do not take his class steer clear.

monotone speaker, dry sense of humor, nice guy, very helpful, assigns readings for homework consistently, but actually goes through the material to make sure you understand it, always asks if students have questions. fair grader on midterm and final. His essays aren't too bad either. overall good teacher, just a bit boring

Most boring man you will ever meet. Monotone. Don't bother reading because he either tells you, you were wrong or he just explains everything in class. Annunciates every persons name wrong (butchers them to say the list). NyQuil is needed; his voice puts you to sleep. His jokes are awful so laugh at him, not with him.. All Hail Robert Croskey.

Really nice guy, but his specialty is Russian History. I don't know who let him teach Chinese history but he has no idea what he is talking about. Really boring lecture based class, I fell asleep everyday

Good teacher in something he cares about. If you deviate from his passions though, he is not a helpful professor at all. Croskey is good for a normal lecture based class, not so good for supervising thesis writing.

I'm currently enrolled in my third class with Dr. Croskey. He is one of my favorite professors. Though he can be monotone if you listen to what he is saying he has a pretty good sense of humor and some things are just crazy that come out of his mouth. Overall, he's available to his students and very helpful.

Comment:
Croskey likes to start out every class by walking in and moving the podiums across the room. Were not sure if someone would move them back just to annoy him but it was pretty hilarious. He loves to stand in the front and read off the names of all students then asks if anyone has any questions..then i fell asleep every day...

A cross between ben stein and lumberg.. super monotone..classes are beyond boring.. surprisingly he is an easy grader on tests and papers. (3 papers 5 page double spaced). not much work. gives a ton of hand-outs of massive packets that no one reads.. takes attendance.. ONLY TAKE if you dont care about being bored like none other in class.

He really does talk like Ben Stein but he actually is sort of funny and is really nice. You don't have to do any of the reading just listen in class and you're set.

Talks in one voice so he can get boring so bring coffee to class. He is very smart, knows his stuff, and is pretty nice. If you go to him during his office hour he is very nice and helpful. Overal the class was a good class.

This man lives for his books. He knows what he is talking about with history, but doesn't have a clue about anything current. I am pretty sure he is afraid of anything electronic. If you want to learn a great deal and are willing to pay attention and do the reading, he's good.

He's like a big rollie-polley. Speaks like Ben Stein... monotone. Very fast note taking ability needed. Not that tough of a grader, but the classes can be painfully boring.
