Professor Perez is quite lenient towards assignment due dates, so it makes the environment less stressful. Overall this class consisted of 3 exams, that must be taken on campus, chapter homeworks, study plan, and quizzes. Quizzes are practically based off the studyplan and homeworks. Study them, and you'll be fine. Overall, great online professor!

He's a fairly good teacher and really cool guy. He has a great understanding of sports economics. There are surprises on tests though. He will put stuff on there that you haven't seen before. But overall, not a bad class and the economics of sports is awesome. Book is not necessary but will help you on homework and tests.

Dr. Perez is very knowledgable. The online class is very easy and doesn't take up too much time. He is willing to take time out of his office hours to help out with a concept you might not get. I would definitely recommend taking this class.

This class was very easy. You learn the basics of microecon. It's not math-heavy, though you do use math given to you sometimes. If you can understand general concepts, you'll be ok. There was weekly online hw to turn in - about 25q/wk - as well as a "quiz" every week, which is like the hw. Three exams. "Mastery points" like hw for each section

Very simple and clear online course. He is lenient on due dates, especially at end of semester. He was quick to reply to emails. quizzes based off hw & study plan. dont read the ebook just study off of assignments b/c exams were just like them. p.s. exams were taken in a lab on campus not at home!

This teacher is awesome. The class is online, but the tests are in class - not cumulative. He communicates very well and is pretty easy going about due dates. I asked for an extension on one homework and he ended up just extending the dates for the entire class. He responds to emails quickly, and the format of learning online makes the course easy.

Fantastic online class set up. Perez allows you to go through the course material at your own pace. The book is completely unnecessary. If you write out all the homework questions, you'll have the answers for the quizzes (most of them). Spent one weekend doing all the homework and tests. I work full-time and this was perfect!

I took his class online. I never read the chapters and still pass with a B. Just do the work and try to memorize the homework/quizzes since the final was exactly the same. Final was 45% of of grade so its important to study/memorize the questions for the final.

Cool Professor, but taking this course online was a nightmare! Just because it's Econ & learning on your own is tough. Take it in person if you can. The course was very long & time consuming. Passed the class, but had to work hard! All your time will be devoted into this online course.

He explained very clearly on how to put your project together step by step. Also, he was available during his office hours if you needed to see him. He also responds to email in a timely manner. He reminds you when assignments are due and will show examples on how he wants regressions ran and done. Overall, the 145 course was thrilling.

Great Teacher, obviously for SPorts fans a great topic of interest, everyday you talk about sports how great is that!!? made learning easy since you relate to whats going on in the sports world daily, Take this class, read the book to help increase your grade, Book reccommended, but needed to just pass by

Great teacher!! willing to help students understanding the course. uses powerpoint, but great examples. I hate econ and the way he teaches his class and the examples he gave, i was able to see econ from a different perspective in which i can understand. will definitely take is class again.

Prof Perez was a really fun teacher. The lectures were pretty easy to understand but really boring. Homework and reading every week. Homework is based on reading and not lecture. Recommend that you get good marks in homework and the quiz as this will really effect your grade! Study the homework and quiz for exams! Did not really curve for our term!

Totally Awesome professor! Online homeworks, quizzes and practice tests made this class a breeze! Professor Perez is one of the best econ teachers ever! He made everything understandable and fun. He also is one of the most helpful professors I have met at Sac State! Take professor Perez! It was a VERY easy A!

HE is one of the authors who wrote the book. His lectures are tightly connected with book. HE is very professional and organized, but the exams are HARD!!! But he curves every exam and final grade. Also, he let us retake midterm 2 since a lot of people did bad. It was a challenging class especially at 7:30am.

One of the most cool professors I have ever had. He really loves the subject and knows how to teach it. He has a review for every test and will answer any and all questions. He will toss in some funny comments throughout the class to keep it interesting too. I give him an A.
