Comment:
Professor Lateano is a very difficult professor. If you don't have the textbook, you will FAIL, calls you randomly when lecturing and doesn't repeat the question he asked. Additionally, he will randomly text in the class group chat "type y fro attendance" and if you don't do it within the time he tells you to, your attendance will not count.

overall the course itself is not that difficult, and the professor is very nice and informative. professor goes at an acceptable pace with the students. just pay attention to his lectures and read the book and youll pass, all his exams were 40 questions or less using scantron. No formal study reviews but opens the class to any questions you have

Professor Lateano is one of the most intelligent professors in the CJ department. He knows SO much about criminal law and has the gift of explaining it so that you know exactly what he's talking about. He truly cares about his students and wants them to do well, however you have to read each chapter and put in the time. Outstanding professor!

Best professor at Kean. Although I only earned a B+ in this class, I learned a lot. He answers EVERY AND ANY question you may have and challenges you in order to become more educated in CJ. One of the nicest people you'll ever come across and reviews and covers all material that will be on the exams. Just don't ever be on your phone, he HATES that.

By far the best teacher I have ever had. He is an extremely nice person who knows what he is talking about. He will answer every single question that you have to the best of his ability. If he believes something might be difficult for the class to understand, he uses everyday examples to explain what he means. The book is extremely helpful as well.

Attend class + using the Text = good grade if you study and ask questions if you don't understand something. If you don't need to know it, he probably won't answer it. Tests will be tricky if you don't study.
