Lots of homework as math has and should to properly understand the information. I am horrible at math but passed with a B. No complaints. Would take again.

Easy to fail his class. Makes you figure out your own grade in the class, wont tell you how youre doing. Didnt seem to want to help much if theres issues, but at least he gives a few overly easy points of extra credit at the beginning of the semester.

he was a very good math professor. math is NOT my strong suit at all, but i actually understood his lectures. he is accessible outside of class and is always willing to help you if you're having difficulties. pretty lecture heavy as expected for a math class. the homework is optional but DO THE HOMEWORK if you want to pass, it's great practice.

He makes it almost impossible to get an A. Even if you get the right answers on tests he will still mark off a lot of points. Tests are extremely long and heavy. No review in class to help you prepare for tests. Do not take his class.

Professor Alexander is a nice person and all, but is not good with teaching math. He goes through the lesson so quickly and does not even explain why or how he got the answer. His whole class is based on tests only, so it's hard to get your grade up if you do bad on tests. Tests are difficult, they are all free response.

Professor Alexander is honestly a really good teacher. If you need help, he always makes himself available to help you and every handout he gives you is very helpful and almost identical to his tests. Tests are difficult but overall he's a very good professor.

Cares about his students a lot but makes you feel dumb when you ask a question about the material. Doesn't really go over a lot of problems while teaching new material focuses a lot on definitions which doesn't help much for a person who is a visual learner in math. otherwise not too bad.

BEST PROFESSOR IVE EVER HAD. He cares a lot about his students and is very fair when grading his Exams. Homework is not for a grade but he does recommend you to do it ( It helps a lot). He has very good notes to help you understand the sections. Overall he is a really good teacher! Would love to take him again!

Professor Alexander is an amazing teacher. I wish he taught 139. If you plan on taking his class you do have to work hard and do the homework (he doesnt check) BUT if you plan on passing the exams homework is a must. He cares about his students and is accessible outside of class. He also gives very good notes for the sections.

Alexander is not a good math professor. If you do not breeze through math then do not take him. He writes down notes but does not explain why you have to do certain things. His exams are hard and he grades every step of your work and takes off points for everything. You only get points for 7 exams. I would never take him again

Takes points off even if you get the correct answer, so if you don"t do the problem exactly how he wants it you lose points. He doesn't grade fairly.

Professor Alexander is always around if you need extra help. His policy is strict. You get homework after every unit from the book. He makes the test himself and he gives a little extra credit. He know the matieral very well. Don't go in thinking you'll get by, you have to understand it and work for the grade.

Overall, he's my favorite teacher this semester. His tests have questions taken from the homework (hw isn't graded), and he sets aside class time to answer homework questions. His grading style is more accurate and helpful than the grading style of any other professor I've taken. I would recommend taking him for ANY class!

Good Teacher. All the notes are guided notes, however, he was very fast while teaching and teaches until the very last minute of class. Never gave study guides for tests like my previous teachers. Tells you what to expect before every test. Does take homework for a grade

Gave out guided notes that were easy to follow, gives good examples of problems, quizzes halfway through a chapter, review day before a test to go over any problems the class has difficulty with, and he always tries to make the class fun. 10/10 would take again

Mr. Alexander is amazing. He would allow me to come to his office all the tome to ask questions about homework. I didn't get the best grade in his class, but I could tell that he really cares for me and others. HIS TEST ARE TOUGH THOUGH, so be careful. If you want an EASY A, go take a poor quality teacher.

Easily one of the best teachers I have ever had. I struggle with math a lot, but he made it easier for me. His exams and quizzes are straight forward, I highly recommend doing the homework even though he doesn't collect it because the problems are very similar to what's on the test. He provides amazing notes. He's a must take for sure.

He gave us fill in the blank notes that he went through with us, providing us with examples. A quiz and test was given every chapter, he grades if your doing the process correctly and only taking a point off ifthe answer is incorrect. He goes over the homework (which is not graded) and if we did not understand he would continue to go over the topic
