Great prof and just a nice guy too -- loves what he teaches, though he does sometimes talk in monotone. I took his 1000X class. Easy to do well if you go to class and do the practice tests before the actual tests. Seems to be very organized in comparison to other profs. Logical, well laid out lectures that are easy to follow along on.

I loved class with Gorassini. He is very enthusiastic about Psychology, and he knows his stuff. He also wears a mic so everyone can hear him perfectly. There are practice quizzes at the end of every lecture which help a lot for exams. Overall, he is a great prof.

Likes to talk... even when no one is listening. His slides are about studies - when he wants you to write a paper about something he hasn't talked about. Talks very monotone. Boring.

I really like Professor Gorassini. If you attend class you will get a good mark. There is a lot of content to cover because this class skims the surface of a lot of different areas in Psychology so it can seem overwhelming but he is more than willing to help clarify and will always get back to you promptly

He's quite funny, loves hockey references and squirrels. He is very monotone though, so don't be tired before class and/or caffeine supply, and quiet, so remind him to wear his microphone! He sticks quite a bit to the book, so skim it before class, then his class will explain. Attendance isn't mandatory, BUT GO. He gives you answers for the exams.

He is super smart, really knows his stuff. There really arn't any surprises on the test as long as you study the text. His notes are really good too, but make sure if you want a high grade to go to class because he uses things he says in the lecture that are not in the text on the exam. Overall, really liked this course but you do need to work hard

He was a decent prof. Reallly boring in class, relied a little too much on textbook. Seemed knowledgeable and inteligent about the content of the textbook. No surprises on exams however, if you study YOU WILL get above a 65. Just don?t mess around like I did and you will pass!

His exams are somewhat hard, but if you study then you shouldn't have a problem. Most of the material comes from his lectures, so make sure you go to class and pay attention! The final exam was not cumulative so that was a relief. I've heard other first year psych profs are harder than Gorassini, so I recommend him.

Funny prof, but does have a monotone voice. If you study the concept lists and use the textbook, you can do well. Smart man, but its easy to tell some students don't appreciate his teaching. If you like psych, he will not make or break your mark.
