Dave is a kind, caring, and hilarious guy. He only has 4 papers total, so it wasn't a stressful class and gives good feedback on your drafts. He gives you a lot of freedom in the prompts and gives interesting readings. He is easily accessible outside of class as well. A real gem. I wish this was in person instead.

I really enjoyed being in Dave's class for Eng2. His prompts are always something unique and quite interesting. He grades your essay in the eyes of a writer rather than just seeing if you did the work -- he really cares about his students and provides the best feedback. He can be intimidating at first but is an amazing person.

Prof Valdes cares a lot about his students and clearly wants them to exceed and improve their writing skills. He gives amazing feedback on first drafts and as long as you follow his feedback you will do well. The later essays are long but very fun to write. Amazing prof

David is a professor who is really friendly and makes very clear what he wants from your essays. He will mark up your first drafts and then you will have the opportunity to make those corrections for your final draft. So long as you make the corrections well, you will get an A. "You will only be responsible for changing the things I marked"

I had Dave for Love and Sexuality my freshman year at Tufts. He was by far my favorite professor ever and the class was my favorite in college so far (I'm a junior now). Dave still says hello to me when I see him around campus and he's an all around amazing dude. He cares about his students and wants everyone to do well. Super chill class!

David is such an amazing guy! He gives very clear feedback on papers and as long as you correct them well after the first draft, you can get an A or A-. Make sure to do the readings for class, but they aren't too long. The structure of his class is really great. I would take another english class just so I could have him again.

Dave is a great guy and he really cares about what he does. He is well organized and quick on returning papers. He grades fairly and it is easy to do well in his class if you put the time in, stick to his grading rubric and follow his comments. Only complaint is there was a required textbook for this class (ENG 1) but we barely used it.

David is fantastic. He's a tough grader, but his level of helpfulness balances it out. Fair warning, he's not a jerk whatsoever, but he has zero patience for people that goof off during class, so just don't goof off. He's a busy guy, but you definitely get the sense that he cares immensely for each individual student. Two thumbs up.

Dave is funny, witty, and truly cares about his students. He is not an easy grader, but he is fair: he tells you exactly what you need to do to get an A, and his comments on your first drafts are extremely detailed and clear. You'll always know how you're doing in the class, as only your essay grades determine it (participation is not factored in)
