Grading criteria/weighting was entirely hidden. Moodle wasn't used for grades whatsoever. Lectures are thorough but if you're anything other than an auditory learning, you will have ahard time benefitting. Very strict grader, wants to see exactly the right process for full credit. Nothing more, nothing less. Possible to pass but switch if you can.

Diff Eq is overall an easy A class. wasnt that difficult and when you get into matrix it is a cake walk. The professor has low review however, i think he was fine. He was not great and his grading on exams can be harsh. He very much cares for the students and people fail because they dont do homework. Bad grades are the students fault in this class

Exams are really tough and be ready to be surprised. Content on exams are way harder than the quizzes and homework. Sign up for him if you want to fail or waste half a semester just to drop the course.

A great prof, one of my favorites! His lectures are entertaining and clear, but he expects you to read the book to gain more information about the sections. He spends the first half of each class reviewing the past section, which is sometimes more helpful than the original lecture. The class requires you to remember almost all of Calc 2. Fair tests

This teacher is horrible. He is the reason that I dropped out of Oakland University, and now I live with my parents and I'm thirty five years old. My girlfriend left me and then my boyfriend left me because no one would accept my job application. I even applied to a restaurant (not accepted).Everyone fails this class. Bad. Bad. Bad. Just don't.

Professor Turret is an excellent instructor. He was clear and thorough in his explanation of concepts, and does a great job answering lectures in class. He grades extremely fairly with lots of partial credit. He tries to reveal difficult concepts to his students in a variety of ways. He can be pretty funny as well. Would take him again no question!

Calc 3 is already full of difficult material but the way he explains things, or lack of explaining, is what really hurts your grade through the semester. I received 3.8 and 3.9 in calc 1 and 2, but with this class and professor I expect a lot lower of a grade and not a big curve. GET THE TEXTBOOK, IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO LEARN

I took this class last winter and I have to say that this was probably the hardest class I have ever taken so far in college. Although he was nice and was willing to help out students if they had trouble, the class overall was a mess. Things got more confusing as the semester went on, and even the workshop class I had wasn't the greatest.

His lectures pretty long because he goes through the notes and does examples. He is pretty confusing at times and the class itself is a boring subject. He is nice and will help you if you ask. The exams were very difficult for me and the class average was always super low. Overall I would not take him again!

Turett is by far the worst math professor I have ever had, I went to every lecture did all the homework asked him for help but the longer the class went on the less I understood. Before I signed up for this class I read his reviews and thought "I am a good student I'm sure he will be fine" nope listen to me I beg of you DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.

Do not under any circumstances take this class with Barry unless you want to fail. Lectures did nothing to help prepare for exams, which were hard, and graded even harder. Class averages for exams were around 40% and he doesn't curve. Unless you have a great workshop instructor, chances are you will be miserable in this class.

Turett does not care if you pass or fail. He seems like a nice guy and you can feel bad for him sometimes but his teaching is so horrible. DO NOT take him. His exams are nothing like his notes, his notes are not helpful at all. He is a very bad professor. I only took him bc he was the only choice I had, but i repeat once again, DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!!!

This class was extremely difficult. I did not learn anything from his lectures, however my workshop teacher (Pate) was extremely helpful. He taught me everything I needed to know. The exam are only 9-10 questions that are 10-20 points each. Regardless of how bad the class does on the exams do not expect a curve. I would not recommend to anyone.

his lectures were confusing and pointless. Learned everything from the workshop teacher. Doing a bunch of practice problems is a must. His tests were fair and sometimes gives extra points back on tests if you talk to him
