Stefan is a legend! He knows a ton about GIS and actually teaches you from a beginner level which makes it easy to succeed in his class. Some test questions can be difficult but overall he tests fairly and you'll be fine if you attend lectures. Very approachable and definitely cares about his students understanding the material!!!

Kienzle is a huge beauty. His class is based only on 4 tests, and 1 very simple google earth assignment. As easy as his class is, he makes the lectures very interesting. If there are a few questions on the tests that many students did poorly on, he will omit them. Would highly recommend taking GEO1000 with Stefan if you can.

Amazing prof, makes it super interesting and you leave with a much better understanding of the world around you. The class is super easy too, its all in his slides and lectures, textbooks helps clarify. It was just a super smooth and easy course.

Great prof, he gives 4 multiple choice tests and an easy assignment, that takes hardly any time at all. If you give a little effort, its an easy A. He is willing to move around test dates to help students out, and really just wants you to do well. Lectures are pretty engaging because he is really passionate about his field.

Great prof, liked his class a lot. Only tests on the material on the slide and his four tests have only multiple choice and matching. I felt like he could be an amazing prof if he had a smaller class to work with, but that is simply not going to happen in a 1000 level course. Put some effort into this class, it's an easy A.

Loved this class! He's very engaging with how he teaches and he does his best to make it interesting. I learned way more in his class then I did in my high school sciences considering the content is very similar. He's the professor I've told all my friends to take this class with. One of my favorite classes I've taken

He is an awesome prof! Very professional and clearly passionate about his job. I took this class cause I needed a science GLER so material wasn't interesting for me but just by going through his lecture slides I got high 70's in his exams so unlike me even if you put a little effort in this class there is no reason to not get 90's!!

Stefan is awesome, super nice and approachable guy. Easy class show up to class take notes and study them before test! Class is really interesting to because he's very funny and has a great way of explaining things. Super passionate about geography! Take any class with with him!!

Great, passionate professor. At the 1000 level, it was all MC quizzes, and if you follow notes, you'll succeed. Quizzes may be worded very poorly, as English is not his first language. Book is filler, but mostly irrelevant, IMHO. If I do not transfer to a different school next semester, I will definitely take more from him.

Great prof, so knowledgable and passionate about this subject. I found him very interesting to listen to in lectures. Tests and assignments were simple if you study and put in any effort. He wants you to succeed and I definitely recommend Stefan!

Kienzle is a great professor, hes very interested in what he does and it made it interesting for me! I dont understand what the previous people are saying cuz I was in the same class and I found the moodle exams very easy. I never used textbook, just read over my notes a couple times and wrote the test. piece of cake. thoroughly enjoyed this course

Amazing. I have so much respect for Stefan. He knows things and has so much real hands on experience which made his lectures more interesting. Everything is on moodle. He expects that you understand material well for tests, but if you attend class and read text you will be fine. Seriously an amazing prof.
