I took VA 101 intro studio I with her. She is amazing and easy to get a grade. She gives 4-5 projects for one semester and that's all! Easy to get a good grade and no reading lecture, no need textbook, no quiz. She also gives two three weeks for one project!

She gives absolutely no feedback on your work. Submissions are sent to her personal email which is extremely unprofessional. Not to mention, she grades your work on her phone. I know this because whenever I would get my grade back it has the "Sent From My iPhone" message. She doesn't actually take the time to look at the detail of your work.

I took VA113 and VA221 with Toni and definitely came out with better drawing skills. She gives excellent feedback and tells you how to improve. I always looked forward to her class!

I love professor Latour. She is amazing! I went into this class thinking I am going to fail as I was never able to draw anything, and came out with some decent drawing skills. She is so patient and gives u feedback throughout the class and encourages you to be better. I would take any class with her, amazing prof!

Take part in the class and enjoy the drawing process, you will be well rewarded. I like the music in the background and the atmosphere is comfortable. Toni is sincere to everyone, don't be absent, don't be careless with homework and quiz.

Toni is great! She gives great feedback and tips on how to improve, and is very hands on. She is very passionate about what she does, which makes the class a lot of fun. This class taught me to let go of perfectionism a little bit and be less serious about my drawing. I would definitely recommend the class and Toni as a prof

I've been at UFV for three years now and am an academic student who took this course as an elective. BEST. CLASS. EVER. The materials cost about twice as much as she told us they would be and be prepared to do work outside of class. Only complaint: I got As on everything and a B- on the small vocab quiz which somehow made my final grade a B+

Seems like a great person and knowledgeable in her field however not very skilled at teaching the subject. Does not actually teach how to do something just expects you to know already, not what I expected from an intro course. Gives zero feedback. Can come across a little harsh. Manageable but definitely not an A+ prof.

She a great teacher no complaints in that aspect, interesting class discussions and shows pretty cool stuff. But needs to relate more to students, and be a lot more lenient with time restrictions, super strict. which makes it a really hard class if you have alot of other stuff going on, wouldnt recommend it.

if you try hard you'll do well in her class. Yes, she's very politcially correct, yes, she's a feminist, but she's smart, informative, (trust me, you'll learn many things), and if you need help, she's there to help you. Just keep an open mind!
