She is decent and caring, but the course was all over the place, and she can seem uncomfortable with online class. Sometimes she got behind her own syllabus and assignments disappeared. Not recommended.

Anne is genuinely so sweet and caring if you're deciding on a french Prof, choose her! She's so cute and passionate about teaching, doesn't give out a lot of homework (at all, especially online) and really cares about her students!

I really enjoyed her class; she's super understanding of her students and wants you to succeedwill adapt assignments based on the class's choice. Very little homework and quizzesfun class with generous marking.

The only reason I'm giving this prof a 2 is that she's nice. This is the most disorganized class I've ever been in. The prof doesn't respond to emails, she gives terrible instructions for tests, quizzes and assignments, and the overall direction of the class is all over the place. She's nice but so so so confusing.

The class was super easy and chill, I really liked her during the semester but she was kind of rude when I had questions about my final grade, she really didn't want to give me a breakdown of my marks. Lots of group work in class, doesn't really post on Canvas so it's important to show up but there wasn't much hw at all

SO disorganized it hurts! She'll tell you one thing about hwk or projects, then the next day, you'll get an email contradicting what she said. She seems like a nice lady, but her class does not have good structure. Even in class, this disorganization shows. For instance, she'll say we're doing group work, then she'll answer her own questions. :(

I really improved my french in both 122 and 123 and I would definitely recommend her for French. She's really enthusiastic and cares a lot about her students.

TAKE A CLASS WITH ANNE IF U WANT AN EASY A. She literally expects nothing from students and if the class doesn't want to do an assignment she will think of a different one to do. Easy work in and out of class. Such a nice prof. Really wants everyone to do well. No midterms or finals. Super high class average.

I wrote her five emails throughout the term and got no responses, didn't help me when I asked for it. Class is really boring and I don't recommend it, you won't learn much and she's quite boring

You probably won't have a prof like her for the rest of your college experience. It feels like a high school class, but sometimes disorganized. Gives little to no criteria - it's up to you to make the most out of your assignment, but it might be annoying not to have any guidelines to help you get started.

Anne is one of the nicest profs I have ever had. She genuinely cares that you learn something in her class. As long as you put in some effort, you will do well. Her classes are an amazing way to keep up your French in university. She can be a little disorganised.

Anne reminds me of being back in a high school french class. She always tries her best to make assignments easier for students, with no final or midterm in this course! Always a fun class and really enjoyed the way she tries to relate things to her own family history.

Easiest class EVER. Put in a little bit of effort into projects and she'll love you. Assignments were SO EASY and almost all were group ones. One quiz that was pretty much a review of grade 12 french and a final where we got to make up our own version to a story. Easily impressed and easy marker. Our class average was very high.

Given that this was a French literature class for students experienced in French, it was completely understandable that the majority of her lectures were in French, and that the texts required reading. However, her amazing personality and willingness to help inside and outside of class makes her a solid choice for those wishing to continue French.

Mme Simpson is very sweet, really cares about her students, and truly wants us to succeed. She's super flexible about how she runs the course and will change things up to try and help us learn better. However, these changes sometimes caused confusion and a lack of structure in the course, which made her class a bit frustrating.
