Not a bad class. 3 hours so it tends to drag but she is a good lecturer and very laid back. Tests are lengthy and somewhat difficult but journals balance them out. Just don't leave the journals til the end.

Her psy of women class was boring, and dragged on three hours seemed to bit a little too long. But do the journals and gltance over the slides you'll be fine.

Class was extremely hard. She read word for word from her powerpoints, very boring. I studied a week before the test and still didn't get it. I asked her for help and she told me to get a tutor and read the book. I did read the book. I wouldn't recommend her for a professor.

Class is very interesting but she goes through the powerpoints really fast and they have a lot of information on them. Gives study guides for tests, but have to know so much that you need to start them at least a week before the test, because they are so hard. The final is comprehensive.

Great professor. She really shows an interest in students and always offers her recommendation. Class revolves around discussion, and she doesnt expect too much. Choose her for 392!

This class was not that bad overall. The class could have been done in half the time if we covered the material quicker. As long as you do the extra credit you'll get a good grade. Dr. Pfost is nice, but her test are hard. Be prepared to go the entire 3 hours even if the material is done.

Very hard class. Comprehensive final. Her test are very hard and you have to study a ton for them. Be prepared to spend a lot of time studying for this class if you take it. I would not recommend it.

This is not an easy class. TONS of notes with a cumulative final. She does give great examples from her own practice that sometimes helps explain the material. The tests are hard and can be very detailed. Even the final asked very detailed questions from the start of the semester. Prepare to work hard but you will also learn a ton. I enjoyed.

First off, if you are not a psych major do not take this class. However, if you are and are interested in clinical psych. Dr. Pfost is extremely helpful and has an interesting class. It is indeed pretty difficult, but the course itself is a difficult course. Attend class, read, study, keep up and you'll be fine. I got a 98% in the class.

SO HARD! I have NEVER gotten lower than a final grade of a B in my life. But FAILED hers. Went to every class, took notes, skimmed book, and STILL failed. There is a problem when people get excited about D's on exams! Take with different professor. This class was like foreign language to most people. I have no advice how to pass, nothing helped me!

Prepare to spend the entire time taking notes as fast as you can. Speeds through notes and doesnt explain very well. Test are really hard. Dont have to really read the book since you take so many notes but tests are very, very hard. Take a different teacher.

I had her for PSY 350 and for Senior Seminar during the same semester. She actually became one of my favorite professors despite what I had heard from friends who had taken her class. I am 2 years outta school and still keep in touch with her every now and then via email. She has written me letters of rec for Grad school even.

all these other people have no idea what they're talking about. she explains the content well and it's relatively easy if you actually GO and take notes. there IS a lot of content. multiple choice tests, and a LOT of extra credit opportunity. good choice for a pick 4 class [psych majors]. essential if you want to go into clinical-counseling.

Dr.Pfost really cares about her students. This class is very hard. With all the terms and theories, it's like learning a new language. The tests were hard, but her study guides help a lot. The course itself was difficult but very, very interesting. I think it was worth taking.
