Probably the best damn teacher I have had. But I am biased, as I feel he is just a version of me plus Star Trek. Any chaos in his lectures I feel is actually purposeful, to keep you interested and unburdened. Any doofus with half a brain will realize the books are his recommendations of excellent reading. I buy all the stuff he mentions.

Adam Lutzker is a great guy, knows his stuff and is very passionate about his craft. I did have issues. The notes that I did get were very disorganized and almost useless because he can be All over the place. We read 4 books and had one paper due per week. ECN327 is VERY VERY VERY labor intensive and wouldnt take it if you have a full schedule.

Lutzker is a great professor. His class was very easy, there were quite a few papers but as long as you complete them and follow the criteria you will have no problem passing with an easy A. He has great commentary during class and is very knowledgable in the subject.

Great professor! Lectures from his own notes, not a "borrowed" Power Point presentation. Unlike a lot of profs I've had so far, he actually tests based on lectures, and reviews thoroughly before each test. If you can take good notes and show up to class, you will do well.

I have taken a few classes with professor Lutzker. He is very knowledgeable, fair, and entertaining. I wouldn't call him an easy A but certainly he wants everyone to do well and grades very fairly.

Read 4 books and write papers about them. Thats it. If you don't like to read the class will be much more difficult. Fun, easy teacher and grades very fairly. Very knowledgable in economics. Political Econ class

A caring professor with a fun personality. Dr. Lutzker was my Micro and Macro econ prof circa 1993-1996 at Albion. I found him to be a very good instructor, clear communication, and a hard and fair grader. He was among the most personable of all my professors, and quite funny. I enjoyed his classes overall and would recommend him.

I would take Professor Lutzker in the future. What a great way to learn about econ! There is a lot of reading, but the books were all interesting to me. He has a great sense of humor which is necessary for a 2.5 hour class. He is super friendly and helpful.

Not really what you expect to get from an econ class you are graded entirely on three 10 page papers that cover 5 text books. He requires you to read at least 200 pages a week. and is not real clear on what he wants in the papers he just says he wants to see that you read mostly graded on if you can fill the 10 pages and not ifyou learnedanything

Great professor! He is hilarious. I loved the way he did his notes, he would write them on the white board and allow you enough time to write them down vs. professors who only lecture and you're rushing to keep up. He helped me really GET econ. which helped me later in ECN 202 (becuase of him that class was so much easier).

Does not grade paper and hand them back on a timely bases, His classes are entertaining though. He trys to reach his students on all levels so you can understand the subject material however too much reading and to many books to read (7 for this class) plus handouts

Dr Lutzker, (Adam) is a non-math economist, which is to say he talked about the forces driving economics. Not just shaking crossed sticks at every proble. (inside econ joke) He is am econ-nerd in the best sense of the word. Lots of reading, 5 books plus hand outs I believe. 2 0r 3 papers to write, as well as, interactive class disscussions.

His graduate level course was straight forward and very easy. Sure there is a large amount of readings but his class boils down to writing 3 or 4 papers. He does not care which writing style you use and you can be quite informal or sarcastic in his papers. Overall, for a economics class he was very enjoyable.

Great teacher he is very knowledgable about the material. Class time is fun. No tests in this class just papers to write. Many books are required for the course. He provides a good outline for each paper and tells important parts that should be included. Overall fun class.

I took two classes with Lutzker and really enjoyed them both. He requires LOTS of books for the class, but rarely, if ever, uses them. You will only need them for references in your papers. Overall, I had a great experience with Lutzker.
