My appreciation and respect for her grew over time. Most students today couldn't handle the brand of criticism she dispensed. But taken to heart, it's turned me into a successful professional writer. You had to work hard for an A in her class, something sorely lacking from today's academia, but if you got one you knew you'd actually earned it.

She is very disorganized, and she does enjoy belittling her students. She is quite emotional, and tangental. However, if you're in a position that she likes you, she really will take your opinions and suggestions into account. If you aren't one of the students she likes, then I truly feel for you.

OMG, this teacher needs serious help! I have learned nothing in her class! I walk out every day kicking myself for wasting that hour and 15 min sitting listening to it. Seriously, just about the biggest waste of time so far! Someone needs to help her!!

I appreciated her perspective and angle from which she analyzed the literature that she presented. I didn't always agree with those viewpoints, however, she taught me that when interpreting literature you should find more than just one perspective.
