In the top 3 best professors in the sociology department. I would recommend ANY of his classes to anyone from any major. He's a great guy, super knowledgeable, friendly, and works with his students. He is very helpful and he really presents though-provoking material. I have taken a few classes with him. I would take all of his classes if I could!

Awesome teacher. Perhaps one of my favorites in the sociology department, although it is very hard to choose. If you prefer papers over tests, his classes are definitely for you. Show up to class, take notes, ask questions, get involved and you will learn so much. Not to mention you will get the grade you were hoping for.

Class is repetitive with endless notes on the doc. cam. Tests are take home and is a fair grader. I recommend buying the book because you will need them for the exams to get a good grade.
