I found his section to be the hardest on the exam. For ex. he'll have 5 statements and have 1 is true, 2 are true, 3 are true etc. Luckily he has a small section. DO PAST EXAMS (questions are very similar)

His lectures didn't prepare me for final exam. I solved all of the assigned problems from the text book for final exam. Very few of them came in final exam. If you like to do well in this course, do final exam samples!

Not the most clear. Lectures don't have a very good flow. He does make things more interesting with his jokes. Questions were fair.

his lectures can be VERY confusing and he jumps from a subject to another one, but u dont mind since he's hilarious and is always making jokes. however i found his questions to be very hard and annoying and not similar to any problem sets assigned. make sure u attend tutorials for this class especially Vikrant's, he's awesome.

His exam questions really are not that difficult compared to Westerns. All you have to do is find some past exams, practice them, and you will ace his section.

I don't know for his other classes, but for genetics he's awesome. Make sure you memorize his slides and you're good for an A on the final. I think the only thing that students dislike is his accent. If you know french, you're good. If not, you'll have to make an extra effort to understand him

If you can find prev exams, then congrats here's ur A. If not, his questions are really difficult and ridiculously long. Don't get too caught up on the details. I seriously think if I had just studied his prev Qs better it would've been a wiser decision than focusing on the details in lectures. Do yourself a favor and study the finals first.

If you can find past exams and work on them, then you will for sure ace his section, because he reuses his questions. However, if you can't find any, then his section will be hell. His questions are the hardest that multiple choice can be; combined with his horrible grammar make them impossibly difficult.

Maybe his accent has gotten better, because i could understand what he said. After rewatching the lectures, I realized I really did enjoy his section, he's funny and his lectures are interesting. He seems like he's willing to help students too, but you probably do have to memorize everything he says to do well. Exam questions are a bit ridiculous

Horrible. Exam questions are so ambiguous and his lectures are very unclear. And it doesn't help that he has a thick French accent either. He sounds nice in class though, but his questions will kill you x_x

Nice guy, but needs to learn both english and how to write a fair exam. His questions are often veyr poorly worder, and convoluted. Also, he tends to make multiple choice questions that would be more suited as a set of 10 T/F questions. Exam questions are significantly more diffiuclt than other profs.

He is very very bad, the only bad one of the 3 profs for bio202. Western is great. yeah and his exam multiple choice questions on the midterm were just evil (average was 59% before the curve that prof schoen gave us).
