Super nice professor. There were three exams. The first two are 33% of your grade and that last one is 34%. There are HW/Activities each week but they don't count for any grades, so you don't have to do them if you don't want to. Make sure to read/skim the chapters in the textbook each week/before the exams and you'll be fine.

Professor Andrews is a very nice guy, but a very poor teacher. His exams are very hard. He gives 2 exams and then a final. They count for 90% of your overall grade. The other 10% is the Bloomberg course.

Prof. Andrews is a very nice and caring professor who makes class fun. However, he doesn't communicate with you individually and ignored all my emails the entire semester which is unfortunate given the online schooling circumstances.

Easy A for the class. He only grades based on Exams and the BMC but for exams, he allows 2 full sheets of notes and 3 for the final exam. He doesn't upload lectures online, but he will tell you everything you need during class. He will explicitly say what he puts on exams like question and everything! Would take him again in a heart beat!

About as easy an A as they come. This Personal Finance class really should be a requirement for college students anyway, but since I'm old and have lived it, I didn't have to work very hard.

Frank knows what he's talking about, HOWEVER those tests are brutal. He will put 10 questions on an exam for example and if you get one wrong, there goes your A. He's funny, goodish teacher, but if you don't go to class you will. not. pass.

Professor Andrews is funny and make class enjoyable. get ready to take a lot of notes. You can learn a lot from the class, beware of trick questions on exam, all the exams including final have cheat sheet but make sure you know what going on in the class or the cheat sheet is useless.

Hands down the best professor I have ever had; teaching and personality wise. he knows what he's talking about and he does a fantastic job teaching it and explaining the material. This class is fast paced and the exams can be challenging, but this IS college. also, he can be absolutely HILARIOUS when he has spare time during class to crack a joke.

Took him for financial management, and I learned a lot in this class but it is NOT an easy A.. you really have to work hard, go to class, and take good notes to do well. But, you definitely learn a lot. No attendance, no homework, 4 exams (all with cheat sheets). Frank is an amazing professor and person, so funny and genuine. Take his class.

"Skip class you won't pass" meaning theres so many notes to take for tests (open notes/ cheat sheet) you can't miss class, Tests are REALLY HARD and that's the only basic thing he grades. Had to have him tutor me and was really helpful. Lots of MATH! Was afraid to drop the class, but he really cares if you show up and put in the work

He is a good professor. No quizzes or homework. 3 tests and 1 final, one-page cheatsheet allowed. If you study for it, it is an easy A. Miss class? He has class video recording available on Blackboard. But I would recommend coming to every class.

I want him to be my 2nd dad too. He provides you with just the right amount of information so that you can pass and apply it in the real world. Provides you with hw problems, solutions, and shows you step-by-step how to get to an answer. Easy to approach. Puts in extra time to help you understand everything.

His class is not an easy A. With that being said it is well worth taking a class with this professor. He is caring, engaged and makes sure that if you don't understand something he helps you get there. You need to come to class & put the time in but if you do you'll do very well. I only wish he taught more classes. One of the best profs at ULowell.

Such a kind professor. He really tries to help you understand the material & make it relevant. You have to put in the effort, do your hw, practice the problems, and you'll do well. Organized and grades fairly. (Side random note) If you are bothered when professors leave marks when erasing the board, this guy is awesome. Always a clean erase!

This was a very difficult class to do well in. He really makes you work for it. There are 5 tests that make up your grade. He drops your lowest and counts your highest twice. But make no mistake, these tests are very difficult. He puts tricky questions designed to fool you on them. Even with the cheat sheets, I barely scraped by.

I don't what you're talking about. He was terrific - honest and helpful. Yeah, sure there were some tough questions on the tests but that's what a test is supposed be like. I would take his class again.

Comment:

One of the few professors Ive had at UML who actually took their online class seriously. Notes were well-written and clearly outlined important topics. Exams were closed note/book (though you may need to peek at them for a few questions, especially on the final), but overall were fair if you studied. Great professor; I highly recommend him.
