He's not a bad professor just really lecture-heavy and talks the entire time. but for a 50 min class, it's worth it. The only work you have is quizzes and homework that are all due at the end of the semester.

He does not explain concepts well. He is very broad and doesnt give good examples to follow in class. Did not admit he was wrong on a test question and marked people wrong for it. Do not recommend taking at all. Went to every class and paid attention and still couldnt follow along.

Not a very good teacher. Homeworks and quizzes are due at end of semester, but are impossible. Talks and writes too fast.

Easiest class ever taken. Graded on 5 homeworks, 5 quizzes (10 questions each) and a final exam (25 questions) all due at the end of the semester. He doesn't take attendance and posts all of his lessons online.

Boring, boring, boring class. Monotonous lectures. Difficult tests. That being said, it is doable, and Prof. Gius will help you if you ask. If you don't need this class I wouldn't take it though

EC111 grade is made up of 10 quizzes, 10 homeworks, and the final. All quizzes and homeworks are due at the end of the semester. The lowest two quiz and homework grades are dropped. He lectures, but if you pay attention and ask questions, you will understand the concepts. Probably won't take another class with him because he is VERY lecture heavy.

I really enjoyed this class as a law major; the course effectively relates the economic consequences of legal actions. Gius clearly knows what he's talking about, and is willing to explain concepts multiple times/ways. Tests generally have a few curveballs but he give partial credit. Doesn't take attendance but you need to go or you'll fall behind.

Makes class extremely boring and rushes through concepts without thoroughly explaining them and his tests are pretty difficult. Gives a couple hw's and 3 tests throughout the school year. If u don't put in the effort for the exams u will fail.

Mark's a good guy but can be a little monotone. If you have a good class his sense of humor will show. The guy loves stats and definately knows what he's talking about. There was 2 tests a few homeworks and a final paper.

At first impression he seems really serious and his class seems difficult, but you will quickly get the hang of it and he really is a nice guy. If you understand the material his quizzes are super easy. If you do not understand anything during lecture he will answer any question and explain something multiple times if you ask. Take him if you can.

All his test are multiple choice, lets you out early. There is only homework due whenever there is a test. You don't need to show up, he doesn't take attendance.

10 Quizzes. 5 tests. Given 2 opportunities at both. NEED TO READ AND TAKE A LOT OF NOTES. Answers cannot be found directly in text. It is a lot of interpretation. No answers can be found online, so you really need to know your stuff. I put in a lot of work for this class, and even though I'm not going to finish where I want, I actually learned.

Great professor! If you actually go to class and take good notes you will do well. Very clear about topics. He drops the lowest quiz and homework so if you mess up on one its not a big problem. You don't really need the textbook but going to class is a must. He may seem a bit grumpy but he wants you to do well. Helpful in office hours.

10 online quizzes, 20 questions in 10 minutes... if you have a problem with one of the questions, email and explain and he will give points back. Lecture videos are very dull and the book is easy, but the quizzes sometimes have information not from chapters. Overall, mixed feelings on him and his class.

Seriously this class is hard if you have not taken stats ever. You will need to go to his office hours or the learning center to get help for homework. The quizzes are mostly 10 questions unless the class finishes early he adds more questions to the next quiz. easy if you pay attention & keep up with assignments. Book doesn't help! Show up & pass.

economics is not an easy class, but prof gius is a very very good professor. As long as you take notes on everything he writes on the board, you will do good on the test. Not an easy A for some, but definitely worth taking him if you have the chance. Oh and attendance is not taken ever

If you don't do well on the homework, you WILL fail the tests. Test questions are sometimes verbatim from homework assignments so make sure you do well on them and understand them.
