Amazingly inspiring teacher. Always supportive of your work but pushes you to make it better. Brings other art forms into class such as poetry for extra insightfulness. Highly recommend.

You should be warned that photo takes up a lot of time! This professor always keeps you for the full class time as well. He really likes to hear himself talk, but is also informative. He is a very fair grader. I was just frustrated by the long classes which tended to get boring if we were not in the lab. He really is nice and means well, though.

great teacher, first few classes you learn the photo develop/print process, then the rest of the class is spent in the lab. Very fun, but beware that it can become extremely time consuming...easy open note midterm done in groups, then an easy presentaton on a photographer. Does show naked pictures of himself at end, but other than that hes great!

cool teacher, helpful, a lot of work because he wants you to become better at photography. 1 test you do with a partner open notes. Recommended for someone who wants to learn the photo process!

Nice guy, flexible, lets you negotiate your final grade a little. He's very helpful and genuinely interested in making you a better photographer. Be warned, though, you see some of his nude self-portraits at the end of class.
