Had us read 100s of pages of his notes each WEEK. His notes are riddled wgrammatical & punctuation errors that interfere wthe meaning, & since the material is tough to understand anyway, the errors make it nearly impossible wo reading things many times over. We emailed a question-took him 8 days to reply. He missed 3 chats because he "forgot".

Needs an editor for online class, typos galore & bad grammar. Six-page intro about himself? CREEPY Unclear student expectations and deceptive syllabus regarding the workload. He might think about the fact that students have other classes and priorities besides HIM and his long winded lecture notes which are mainly irrelevant and useless. AVOID

knows a lot about psychology but doesn't know how to teach it. he's nice but thinks every student should read 500 pg. emails all day. annoying. needs to think out his lectures.

Definitely an easy A class but! I had to on several occasions force myself to go to class. His lectures never appear to be thought out, most of the time he is just talking through many subjects during class. He also doesn't give any sort of outline or idea as to what is on the exams he just assumes you should figure it out on your own. ANNOYING.

best course in my doc program; never learned so much and so much that was up to date. Really pushed my thinking and limits; really enjoyed the discussions and debates; left with 5 dissertation topics and a ton of laughs.

Excellent teacher who knows serveral different disciples and helps doc students to conceptualize and learn how to conceptualize; at times the cogntive dissonance is tough but is worth it. Not appreciate by some students who don't have a lot of aspirations but really supports woemn and minorities

I was in the same class as the student who called Dr. Carifio the worst professor in the GSOE. This guy was a supposed Math Education doc students who didn't know squat about statistics but thought he did who Dr. Carifio had to constantly correct as he never read the materials. He got the lowest grade in the class;a gift B+ that he complained about
