Don't let the good reviews distort, his class is pretty bad. Tells you to buy a book in an edition you wont use, gives problems in the wrong edition, wastes a ton of time in class trying to be your "friend" while effectively teaching you nothing. Nothing he teaches you in the class lines up in the labs. He's texting about 33% of his lecture.

Funny guy. His lectures are very detailed and on the spot. He breaks down every detail in to easy to understand words. He keeps the class engaged. He assigns quizzes that arent too hard if you follow along in class. He also assigns multisim projects which are just effort based grade. He is probably my favorite ee professor Ive had so far.

Outstanding. Never looked forward to a class than I did to Mufeed's. He takes tough concepts and uses real-world examples to make it clear. Not to mention, he is hilarious with his slightly awkward, slightly non-political correct comments. Overall, excellent professor after you bypass his inner-crazy

By far the best professor at UML. Most classes you can skip and get an easy A since they just read off of a powerpoint. He is the only professor i have had who regularly writes on the whiteboard and is very verbal is class. If you can take him do so! If you just want a worthless degree without learning anything, then he is not your guy.

Mufeed is an average professor in every sense. He spends the class going over the same few things again and again. He is very bad at explaining material in a way that relates one topic to the next, 90% of what he says is him stating some equation from the book. He's good at explaining HOW but not good at explaining WHY.

Professor Mufeed is my favorite Professor at UML. The reason is that he cares more about students learning than succeeding in exams. He will try make the course schedule more suitable towards students. Mostly he uses metaphors to let students understand process behind any topic. He grades fairly overall. I would recommend him for most EE majors.

RT DSP with Prof Mufeed was one of my favorite classes. Learned and had to write on take home test all the details of implementing an FFT which was pretty interesting. I liked him as well, smart guy with lots of interesting info on DSP. Highly recommend.

Look to this review and enjoy it. He's an eccentric. Splendid lectures, you'll be sure to learn something - it's hard *not to* pay attention. He pours energy into the class, and expects feedback - don't just stare if he asks a question. Easily one of the finest professors at UML. Content seemed industry relevant.

Interesting professor. Super enthusiastic. You cannot attend his class without learning, made sure EVERY student was paying attention and grasping material. Changed his class structure throughout semester to optimize student success w/o compromising quantity of material learned. Absolutely did a bit of GodWork with his "individualized scaled grade"

Not the best, not the worst. He spends the whole semester drilling over a handful of concepts again and again. Tests/quizzes are graded out of strange numbers, and in the end, he scales the course to give you the grade he thinks you deserve.

He is the worst! I don't know why every body said he's a good professor? He is lazy on everything that he's doing and he likes to change the structure of the class at any given time. sux!!!!!

Mufeed is very helpful You learn about four things in the class, but god help you, he will make sure you know those four things because it will make your engineering life a lot easier here on out. Approachable, friendly, and the tests aren't too bad.

What a riot. Mufeed's creates a lighthearted atmoshpere, has a strong but friendly personality. Oddly, it is not required to actually do any work. If you pay attention in class, you can ace his tests. I don't feel as though I was truly required to learn in order to do well in the class. For that reason, I suggest trying another professor.
