Easy to talk to and approach. Wrote 4 papers on various topics, wasn't the typical subjects. Enjoyed disscussions, and she really dives into the material. Good Professor would take her again.

Best college writing professor hands down. 3 to 4 short papers, she gives you lots of time in and out of class and is always available if you need help. Just show up and answer her questions and youll get an A. Few 3 question quizzes that boost your grade, very easy.

Took her class in Spring of 2016. Despite being blunt at times, she also has a good sense of humor. She doesn't like electronics at all, and demands a lot of respect for her and your peers. The quizzes she gives are short answer questions on the readings, so if you don't do too hot on the essays, they'll help your grade. Has plenty of office hours.

One of the best professors I have ever had! I took Short story over the winter session. There was a lot of reading, but that was to be expected. Daily quizzes weren't bad as long as you did the readings. Great class, very personable and helpful.

She is honestly an amazing professor. I took her winter course and I wish I could take her again! She quizzes you almost every class on the reading but it's all plot related and straight-forward. Just do the readings and you'll get an A. She drops your lowest quiz average which helped a lot. I got an A in her class and I highly recommend her!

Took Prof. Hojnacki's College Writing 2 class last fall. It was an average workload, but the quizzes were more content based (like if you actually did your reading). Books were really good, and Prof. Hojnacki knew her stuff. Would highly recommend!

Took this class during the winter session and couldn't believe it -- easiest 3 credits you'll ever find. Stories were short and sweet, several of which many of us had already read. Quizzes were plot related and final was easy. She really gets into the material and paints a pretty good portrait while also having a good time in class.

Such an interesting teacher. Classes are never boring, and you are guaranteed to get out early every class. She gives great feedback on essays and is always available and more than willing for one-on-one help. Love her!! I would take her for college writing 2 if all her classes weren't already full. She is a fair grader.

Excellent teacher! The readings were interesting and her talks engaging. If you do the reading and show up to class there's no reason why you shouldn't get an A.

Mixed feelings. The material was always interesting and I liked the book. At least for me, she was a tough grader on papers. I got a horrible grade for my first paper. She doesn't seem to like giving too many A's (even for simple assignments). I've gone in early for help before, and she skimmed the first paragraph only. She gave me little advice.

She's gonna be mean at first but she loosens up. she's a wonderful professor; i loved her discussions! 5 papers in the semester. she holds writer workshops to help you edit your essay which really helps. lots of quizzes, but they're so easy. she's a very fair grader; you'll get the grade you deserve. you can always email her drafts for feedback

She is a very nice lady. She makes the class periods before and essay is due become a writing workshop. She helped me become a better writer and I highly recommend her. You will do fine in her class just as long as you buy and bring the text to every class.

She is the best! There are four 2-3 page essays you have to write for her and they're super easy. Once you find out what type of writing she's in to, just write that way and you'll be golden for the semester. Take her class!!!

You have a midterm and a final which are pretty simple as long as you do the reading. Plus there's bonuses too. There's also a 3-5 read responses based on assignened poems that are due biweekly. She's a tough grader on the read responses but if you send multiple drafts, you might raise your grade. Midterm and final were graded fairly.
