BEWARE! Professor Lopez constantly talks about herself, she is always late to her own classes, and she tries to make students feel bad for her own mistakes (and she makes a LOT of mistakes, especially with posting homework on time.) I love psychology, but this was my most stressful class because she was inconsistent, unorganized and scatter-brained

Showed up to class 5 minutes late and ended class 30 minutes after the time. I could never get in contact with her through email or office hours meaning she didn't show up to them and for emails she just wouldn't reply. She would not teach the material that ended up being on the quizzes so I ended up having to make guesses. Not a good experience.

After taking Dr. Lopez's course online she is often unorganized and sometimes tough to communicate with. However, Dr. Lopez is a friendly professor who really wants to help you pass her course. She is also fair and understanding when you have problems. Also, she does not assign too much work that will overwhelm you.

She was awful. We were supposed to have three exams and we only had one not including the final. When you go to email her about questions you may have she doesnt answer at all. If anything she is utterly disrespectful and rude. She never puts grades in until the last minute at the end of the semester. The class was utterly awful.

Prof Lopez is probably one of the most unorganized and horrible profs I have ever had. I have never been so confused, frustrated, and lost in my entire life. To be honest I dont think I learned a thing in her class. She has no idea what she is doing and wastes her class time being late, complaining about her own life, or avoiding questions.

Dr. Lopez was extremely unorganized and never understood simple questions about assignments that were asked by many students. Often times 30 minutes of the class was taken up because no one understood her assignments. She changed the syllabus and dates twice, and we were many chapters behind. She doesnt respond to emails, even after resending.

The first day of zoom class and we had a substitute and she didnt even know what to do with the questions we asked her. We are a bit behind in what we are supposed to be doing that we had to skip a chapter. She changed the syllabus 4 times. She has not answered my emails. Also she is making everything go fast by rushing in class.

Dr. Lopez is a hard professor. It was a hard to know what she was talking about and she didn't say much about what was needed. She was hard to talk to do to her being or me feeling like she was in a rush and when I knew I needed help she made me feel like I did something wrong. She was also late or close to time rushing in. Great freshman class.

She seemed very unorganized in the beginning, and made it a point to let us know nothing was her fault. She never answered any of my emails in the entire class, and would only send out group emails that didn't address my personal questions. She also misspells things, and her syllabus was not very clear.

Dr. Lopez is very involved with her discussions. Her class was long and very detailed. She speeds through her presentations. Does not email back. Is very unorganized. But is a very nice person aside from being a professor. Her exams are off her guidelines! Take advantage of extra credit!

Pretty Good. She doesn't answer emails, but she gives plenty of extra credit opportunities. Doesn't really give you feedback on papers, tests can be hard if you don't pay attention, but she tells lots of interesting and relative stories about kids she works with that help the class.

I love Dr. Lopez. She's an awesome prof. If you do the extra credit, read the book and study her handouts you'll do fine. She pulls her notes from the book. You get extra credit for not missing class. Miss too many classes and she deducts from your grade. Don't be late either. Take her and you'll learn a lot about child psych.

She does not do a good job teaching at all. If you want to pass her class you need to do all the extra credit and study from the book on your own. Make sure you show up to class everyday. She wastes a lot of time complaining about not knowing how to pull up her slides. If she does not have her notes she can't teach.

Dr. Lopez is an intelligent woman who is very passionate about her field. However, she is very disorganized. She goes off on so many side notes and strays from the syllabus. Her exams are pretty much straight from the study guide. Put in the work and you'll get the grade.

Will mark you absent when a few minutes late despite her constant lateness. She was late to our final. Makes everything personal and about her making it difficult to relate her examples back to the text. Will lose your work if not handed in on D2L. Wouldnt recommend unless you're really into the subject

I would never take this professor again in a million years. She is constantly frazzled and it seems like she has no idea what she is teaching. Gets annoyed when people are late/leave early though shes always running into class late. When she says something is supposed to be 2-3 pgs she really means 60 pgs. Checks her watch when students raise hand.
