He is a very kind and sweet person. But sadly not a good professor. Lectures seem pointless as he goes through long proofs that do not really help you prepare for assignments and exams. Going to lectures feels boring and pointless.

Very nice guy, but not the best teacher. His lectures are proof heavy which dont really help you do problems on homework's or exams. He really wants his students to do well and encourages questions but often times people dont even know what to ask.

He wrote paragraphs on the board and then wrote the proofs out. Everything he wrote was directly out of the textbook and he could've just assigned the reading. I went to his office hours for help because I didn't understand something and he was no help. When I said I still didn't understand he said well i don't know how else to explain it.

2nd Midterm Nov. 26. Final December 10. Two weeks of time between these two tests. In two weeks, this left us with approx. 5 lectures less than an hour long. So in 5 hours we were lectured all of the content of an entire chapter from the book. We will be tested on this on the final, along with the rest of the course's content. This is too much.

Intensive content. You will definitely learn a lot provided that you read his note and reflect his lectures very carefully by doing homework problems. Though it is of great difficulty, at least his course does not waste your money on some materials that you probably have learned.

Schleini is the nicest professor I've ever had! The course material is difficult but he does a good job explaining it, and is there for you outside class if you need extra help. Definitely take him!

Honestly probably the nicest teacher I've ever had. He's super approachable and wants everyone to succeed. That being said, his lectures are often unclear, he goes on a lot of mathematical tangents and his notes are disorganized all over the board. He's still a really smart guy but you have to pay close attention because its easy to get lost.

Professor Schleiniger is a super nice guy and wants everyone to do well. His lectures can be confusing because he jumps between boards and mixes theorems and proofs in the middle of his examples. Midterms were fairly easy but I felt super unprepared for the final given its difficulty.

Scheiniger is honestly a great guy, just make sure you're ready to work. His homework assignments take a long time and he's pretty tough with grading them. That said, Schleiniger is one of the friendliest professors I've had at UD. If you need help, don't be afraid to ask. His scheduled help sessions were great and probably saved my grade.

Professor Schleiniger is the best professor I have had at UD so far. He will do anything it takes to help you understand the material including weekly review sessions. He'll sit with you until every question you have is answered. Homework is pretty tough but extremely relevant to class material. Tests are easy in comparison. Schleiniger is amazing.

Gilberto is a great guy but the homework and Matlab assignments will take more time than they are worth. Exams were pretty fair but he and Raymond are very hard graders so don't expect to get too much partial credit. He moves pretty fast in my opinion so if you might want to consider Raymond for this class. Both do review sessions before exams.

Prof. Schleiniger is a nice guy, but his lectures are confusing and almost feel like a waste of time. He takes very little time to explain what he's doing and usually goes right into difficult examples. I relied mostly on the textbook and internet for this class. Tests are okay, HWlabs can boost your grade, but quizzes for some reason are tough.

Schellingen is a great Professor! He's an adorable old man and such a funny guy. This is just a difficult course. He holds his normal office hours as well as additional study sessions. Quizzes and exams are difficult. Labs and homework are very easy. He teaches the class quick, so if you miss class you fall behind. Do practice problems form book.

Prof Gilberto is an incredible guy; So nice, so kind, and a great teacher. Unfortunately, I feel that he mostly taught to the tests, and expected students to absorb the theory from the textbook. The 2 tests were incredibly easy, and identical to homework problems. The final however, was the most humiliating test Ive taken. Nothing Id seen before.

Dr. Schleiniger is a good lecturer and shows you how much linear algebra and diff. eq apply to CHEG. However, MATLAB assignments, homework, and tests will consume an enormous chunk of your time. The two semester midterms are fair, but God be with your for the final. Exams co-written with Raymond, the final was out of left field and killed my grade.

Professor Schleiniger prefers doing a great deal of proofs to illustrate points. Office hours were helpful, but typically contained a few other people as well, so I found it difficult to get all my questions answered. (Bi)weekly homework, moderately tough exams. Overall, he's a kind and patient professor, but this was undoubtedly my hardest class.

Turn your brain off when he starts to derive or prove something; it isn't useful and it will just confuse you most of the time. Other than that, he is a really good professor who could even affect your life philosophy as well, if you let him.

he really likes the subject, but he flies through simpler examples and then asks us to do a MUCH harder problem on our own. 30 seconds later he asks for an answer. his tests require knowledge of trig and other memorization, rather than being ore concept oriented. test are also rushed; do not take if you work more slowly.

Teaching is kind of ineffective, but if you read the book, you will be fine. I would recommend going to class because he's funny and it will help with your understanding. Not the best at answering questions but is very patient. I do think he enjoys teaching. Tests are very simple compared to lectures, webassigns a little harder but they help.
