Awesome guy and he really knows his stuff. Thermo was very interesting and his slides and lectures were too. Very long homework assignments that will take you a long, long time but after you complete it you will know exactly what you are doing. Exams are difficult but fair. Clicker questions every class. Awesome professor overall!

Great professor. Likes teaching and tries to have fun in class. Had Clicker questions every class. VERY hard material that is difficult to understand. Keep up with assigned reading, really attempt weekly homework and go to office hours to do well. Exams are very difficult given short amount of time. Requires a lot of work and time, but is relevant.

Wonderful professor, attendance is only mandated by use of "clickers" which became extra credit anyways. Brilliant professor yet very helpful and caring. Do your work and you'll pass, and whatever you do, don't fall behind.

Attendance is not mandatory but clicker questions count for grade. Lectures are very clear, great use of internet / email communication. Professor genuinely enjoys topic. Sometimes homeworks are unnecessarily long, but you do get a whole week. Tests are fair if you study. Recommended.

He's one of the best teachers I've ever had. I came in scared about the class, but he made it interesting. Tests are challenging, not hard. Do the weekly homeworks, go to the lectures, and recitations and you should be fine.

Good professor. Sample problems in class and weekly assigned (graded) homework pertain to test questions. Very helpful in office hours. T-score grading curve. Overall a great professor. Don't fear this class. The people that feared thermodynamics generally did terribly because that's what they expected. It's very doable. Just practice.
