Spair yourself. Class is painful and a waste of time. You will not learn anything. He simply reads out loud and often gets lost.

Nice man, good teacher, but class does get boring. Read the book before class and you don't need to pay attention. No big projects and exams aren't too bad if you've read the book. Class in general was a waste for me as we used the same book from my undergrad.

Did not force you to do any computations in class. Assumed that we all learned that in our other finance classes. Instead taught more about financial strategy in the corporate environment. I would not recommend if you are a finance major, but great for everyone else that is interested in the important elements of finance.

This is the most useless professor I've dealt with at Loyola. He barely uses the book, relies on antiquated handouts that he scribbles all over, and he doesn't stick to a good lesson plan. His tests are at best a 10-essay fluffing of his ego. I did fine because I already knew the topic; others who took this as an introductory course suffered.

I'll say the teacher is a nice man but he really can't teach. Just lectures without creating class participation. This was a summer class so we had 2 exams which were pretty hard. His study guides don't match what's on the exams. Class was very boring and I didn't get much out of it. I would not recommend this teacher.

Easy grader, easy A. You have to do a project, but it was pretty easy. Midterm and Final are open note.

Teacher talks more about his experiences and just sort of rambles on. Does not get into true corporate finance in any real sense. You have to do some dumb landscaping project because his son owns a landscaping company. Overall, the class was easy, but you don't really learn much.

Very easy class and the professor is easy to get along with. While the class should be an easy A, don't take it if you are planning on moving on in Finance. The class will leave you feeling unprepared for the higher level classes. 2 exams, 1 quiz, 1 article abstract and a group semester project
