Comment:
Dr. Bhatt is okay, but not my favorite. His powerpoints are useless. He gives study guides for his tests but they are mostly essay questions and you have to say exactly what he wants you to say or you won't get credit. Group project is a huge aspect of this class so be prepared.

Comment:
I really hate to say this, but I was very displeased with Dr. Bhatt. He doesn't use the book (pointless), the notes in class aren't helpful and minimal, he doesn't communicate well with students and the information prior to exams is ambiguous.

He was my 395 advisor and while I didn't spend much time with him, I recommend doing your 395 in his lab. The girls that lead his lab are awesome and what you have to do is fairly easy. You have weekly meetings with Dr. Bhatt and the other 395s to discuss articles that he chooses. Overall great experience. Highly recommend.

I came here just to see what other courses Bhatt teaches. He can be difficult to understand at times (English=second language) but that's the *only* downfall. He is extremely knowledgeable and challenges students without being overbearing or unfair. His course was centered around us learning from each other, and we studied useful journal articles.

I was able to come into Dr. Bhatt's class for the last 10 minutes of an hour and a half class, get all the notes for the day and be gone. So in other words, he covered about 10 minutes of material in a full class period. Very slow.

I had Dr. Bhatt for PSY 460 also. He knows a lot on the subjects he teaches. He makes you do a good amount of work but grades fairly. I would recommend him to anyone interested in developmental psychology.
