Alright so the microeconomics textbook's knowledhe is slightly difficult to consume but reading is mandatory. Classes are interesting because he relatively keeps the discussions contemporary. I did well in the class because I enjoyed the informative material, understood the professor, listened to the lectures and read the textbook.

My suggestion for someone taking this class is to find a student in the class who knows what they are doing! You will excel this way. The teacher is personable and puts the class in a realistic perspective for students, and our future.

I had Hadsell for principles of micro, the class even though it wasn't very organized and clear the work was not very hard. For intermediate the class was very confusing. The information we needed to know was not clear at all and tests were very confusing. I would reccomend another teacher for this class

ye, he doesn't know how to teach at all. I like economics and it's usually really easy for me, but with in this class I just couldn't understand what he wants from me(in exam questions). Don't ltke him at all. take o'dey for your economics classes - he's the man=))

Hadsell really does not know how to teach. I had to teach myself almost all of the material because in class he often went off topic from the textbook. His 2 exams and final were quite hard even with a lot of studying. Do the quizzes to boost your grade. Beware that opinionated questions may be on the test. In this case, answer like a liberal.

This guy likes to listen to himself talk. He will start out the lecture talking about one thing and then completely drift off to another topic. I would attend class, as I didn't do as well when I didn't. Online quizzes help boost your grade and completing the readings would help your cause as well. Tests are kind of ambiguous so study hard

Great guy with good intentions. Not an easy class so you need to read the book and do the quizzes online. Not terrible but not great either

Hadsell is a good guy, but this is a challenging class if you're not prepared to do work. Good to take if you want to learn the material but if you are uninterested it will be a challenge. Nonetheless he is a good teacher if you apply yourself.

Hadsell is okay. His teaching style is a bit different from most, and it is sometimes hard to understand the material (the text doesn't help much). However, he is more about the effort put in than anything, so it benefits you in the end. Our final ended up being optional (with circumstances). Overall, not bad.

Hadsell should be dept chair of the business economics division at oneonta! He has the best grading system of any teacher I have ever had. You must work hard, but he is more about the effort rather than the grades. Therefore, you put forth effort, you learn, and you get a good grade. If you are a bus econ major, take int micro with him, not O'Dea.

Hadsell is one of the best teachers I've had at Oneonta. He makes what would be a VERY boring class and makes it interesting with videos and such. His class is the reason I switched my major to Business Econ. Take any class you can with him!!

I would definitely recommend taking intermediate micro with Hadsell. You get to choose whether or not you want attendance to count towards your grade. He lets you make groups in the beginning of the semester and if you just tell him that you meet 2 hours a week, youget an extra 10 points on the tests. Nice guy, very helpful

Hadsell isnt a bad guy. he's not that difficult, but the material is hard. His main problem is that he spends alot of time on one topic. he could spend a week on the same thing. He uses the book alot. All the homework come from the text, which is bad thing becauseunderstand. Overall, its a garentee C and a very possible A/B.

Really not a good teacher at all. He's a really easy grader (I got an A and never went) but he's not clear about anything he tries to say at all, and his tests have very little to do with what we talk about in class. And it was supposed to be Microeconomics and he taught us Macroeconomics basically. Also really cocky, brags about how rich he is.

Comment:
Unusual grading method. You get an A if you complete 2 Type A assignments (long), four Type B (shorter) and pass two tests. Pretty good teacher, relatively easy class.
