Comment:
This class was extremely boring. She basically read from the textbook all class, which we had to do for homework. There was little to no real world examples of what we were talking about and she did not accommodate for the different types of learners. As a more visual learner, this class was terrible.

One of my favorite professors on campus! She is such a great teacher to help you get on track to becoming a music therapist. She's also always in her office when her schedule doesn't say she's somewhere else, so you can always visit and ask a question. Incredibly fast grader and puts everything online for us. I just wish she graded tougher.

I absolutely love Mancino. I have had issues in working with clients and as my supervisor she has helped me solve them and calm me down. She is a fantastic professor and I am so glad to take classes wit her. She's easy to understand and always answers your questions. She knows so much in the field and talks to you as a peer as well as a student.

Before anything is said, I must say I absolutely love music therapy and intend to make it my career. BUT, this professor is one of the worst I've ever had. Given she is a great therapist, but she's a terrible teacher. If you don't agree with her, she doesn't see your opinion as valid.

Kim is by far one of the top professors on this campus. She has high expectations for all of her students, but is always right there to help. Her office door is always open and she is approachable. Her passion and enthusiasm show in everything she does (even if she doesn't tell us!). She also makes some delicious home cooked food!

Kim is an outstanding professor. Easily one of the most motivating figures I've ever had in my entire life. Very clear in her expectations but encourages you to find your way to reach them. Really wish she was more involved in the upperclassmen's experiences in the field. Will surely be a lifelong friend and mentor.

Best Professor I've EVER had! She really pushes you to be at your best but is ready to help if you fall. Wish she was more involved in the upperclassmen's therapy program because we miss her!

Comment:
Fredonia's best music therapy teacher. Kim's best quality as a teacher is her passion and enthusiasm. She wants you to be the best music therapist you can possibly be, and she works hard for you. As a supervisor she sets the bar very high, but holds individual meetings to help you along the way. She can be hard on you, but you will learn a lot.
