Really fun and easy class. Weekly quizzes on the readings. Final and midterm reuse quiz questions. 4 discussion assignments. 2 papers with a clear format provided. It was also just cool to read and learn about iconic songs and artists in pop music throughout the past few decades.

He really knows what he's talking about! I think he's too smart about music tech, and so the things he says goes over our heads sometimes. But nonetheless, the projects are very fun and insightful, and he is always available outside of class to assist you! Super nice and funny :)

Really easy A with quizzes and discussions almost every week. You have to pay 90 dollars because he sells you his website and it's needed to take the quizzes which aren't the best but it is an easy A.

Class is very easy but the professor requires students to purchase a $100 program for the class that basically does the exact same thing as canvas. I took issue with the fact he made us pay for something canvas does for free. Just be wary of this if you plan to take him

Professor Buonamassa was great. Everything is clearly stated and everything is taught in his readings, no surprises. Easy quiz's every week and a few writing assignments in which are short and easy. There's also a mid term and final exam, which are simple cause they come from the readings/grt. He also always respond to emails quick and helps u

This class was super easy! All the questions on the tests, including the midterm and final are on quizlet. There are four online discussions which you will get a good grade on if you follow the instructions he gives. There are two music reports that are very easy but can inconvenient if there aren't many concerts playing that semester.

Easy course but beware it is expensive $90! The A is guaranteed tho since it is simple, consists of small quizzes every week, about 3 discussion posts, 2 live performance essays (700 words), & super small 2-3 page readings with music links. It is easy but I spent $$$, not just on the course but also the 2 concerts - there's cheaper ones but boring

Easy class to take online. All quizzes online, but super easy. All the papers he assigns are super easy as well because all you do is listen to music and give your opinion on it. I recommend to take this prof and class online.

This professor is, by far, the easiest one I have taken a class with. If you want an easy A, take him. There are weekly quizzes, small discussions, a midterm, and a final but it is the easiest tasks you can do. As long as you take the time to do your work, you'll be more than fine.

I took this class to fulfill my obligation of 3 extra credits in order to graduate. This is by far one of the easiest classes I've taken at CSUN, and fun too. You have to take a weekly quiz, all on quizlet. Two papers on a live performance with proof of attendance. Also, a few extra assignments that take 20 minutes out of your day. Great class.

Took this as my first online class and it was pretty straight forward. You have a reading and quiz once a week and on subsequent weeks you'll have a discussion followed by two concert reports. He gives good feedback and gives clear instructions. Would highly recommend this online class.

Great Professor, all of the reading was done through an online website, which you have to buy, however contains all the answer straightforward. Must attend a live performance, and write a 2 page summary. Easy class.

I really enjoyed Buonamassa's online class this semester. You have to pay 70 dollars to access the online "textbook" forum, but you'd probably pay that much for a textbook anyway. Weekly quizzes, must attend two performances and write a paper on them, midterm and final. Do the work and you'll get an A.

The class was interesting I liked it the only thing is if you don't have 78.98 I don't advise you to take this class thats the cost of the book you have to buy for the course but if you do its a great course really simple to pass it has the same course plan for every music class quizzes, final and one concert event.
