Professor Willis is the coolest guy! He made Animal Physio an enjoyable, and more importantly, easy class. Grade was based on 4 Tests (dropped lowest), 6 HWs (dropped lowest), and clicker points (Had extra to make up for missed ones). You don't need to crack open the textbook to get an A. Tests were online, non-proctored, and very easy. Funny guy

He is a really good professor that gives you plenty of opportunity to get a good grade in the class, but the clicker questions are so ambiguous that most of the class either gets them wrong, or it is obvious one answer its impossible to get wrong. Its one or the other, so it is difficult to learn from the clicker questions.

Great professor. His lectures are a little boring, but as long as you're able to do the problem sets you'll be fine. Tests are all online (even though it's an in-person lecture), super easy, and curves big time. Pretty much an automatic A if you're familiar with basic biology and go to class.

Dr Willis is a nice guy. His lectures are very boring and his exams are ridiculous. I spent all my time studying for this class and I ended up doing horrible in all my other classes. I definitely don't recommend taking this class. It's all math based and I felt like I was taking Physics.

Dr. Willis is one of the nicest people/teachers you will ever meet. He's pretty funny and really wants you to succeed in his class. He always tries to give you the main idea, rather than focus on details. He wants you to understand it! This class is a breeze if you slightly pay attention in class and do your clickers. A is an 83% average on tests.

Wayne is a cool guy. Just show up to class, participate using your clicker, and review the material for tests a few days beforehand and you'll be fine. Material is largely review for anyone that was a BIO/BCH/CHM major. Only need a 83.33% average on exams to get an A if you fulfill the other point requirements, which are easy and effort based.

Willis is awesome! His lectures can be somewhat dry but hes a funny dude. 3 tests, 6 problem sets, and clicker points for the grade. Problem sets and clicker points were easy to get 100% and the tests weren't too difficult b/c he makes easy to follow study guides and sample tests. Definitely recommend. Oh, and no cumulative final!

He is an awesome professor. Provides you with study guides and practice exams, which are really helpful for the tests and make things clear. Very generous with clicker points and homework is math heavy but fairly easy nonetheless. Tests are more conceptual based with a few easy quantitative questions.

Willis explains things clearly, and his powerpoints are helpful, especially for his problem sets. Be advised though, your homework is mainly math-based, while tests are mainly concept-based. Use the powerpoints, study guides, past exams, and Facebook group and you should be fine.

Dr. Willis is really nice, and a pretty good teacher. His study guides will tell you exactly how to study for the exams. The homework is hard but there is less math on exams. He doesn't stay particularly on track but it's not a big deal. I'd recommend his class over almost any other large lecture BIO class.

Willis is cool and an absolute genius! I could really tell he did his best to not make the class too overwhelming. He really wanted to make it manageable for the students. The tests are multiple choice and he gives you plenty of study material to prepare you. Willis is the man, enough said.

Dr. Willis is great! He really went the extra mile this semester to help us students understand the concepts he was teaching. I still got a B, but that's due to the fact that I took too many classes & didn't have as much time to study. He put together study guides & practice tests for us, which were really helpful. I would definitely recommend.

He has changed this class from being mostly math and equations which has made it much easier! He is such a nice man and is really passionate about the class. If you come to class, pay attention, and have the regular amount of brain cells you will do well and actually learn cool things!!!

Dr. Willis was extremely passionate and very knowledgeable in his areas. Very quantitative when it comes to his approach for teaching concepts. Can be tricky if you aren't familiar with exercise physiology, or have no background with physiology or anatomy(Rec. bio 201&201 before). HW and quizzes out weigh exams. Interesting and fun professor.

He's the worst teacher ever for physiology. Every class, we get through half the material because he has no idea how to teach within the given time. All the stuff he lectures on is equations, without actually explaining what that means in context to the body. Then he tests and quizzes you on all the crap he didn't teach. Nice, but sucks at teaching

Dr. Willis is one of my favorite professors. He knows the subject matter well and is easy to understand. Take notes in lecture and do the study guides to get an A. Very kind and willing to help; v. helpful in office hours. Very enthusiastic and makes cute jokes in lecture. Would definitely take class w/ him again!

Prof Willis seemed like a very nice guy but goodness I could never stay awake in his boring lectures. The test outlines were somewhat helpful but during review sessions sometimes would not help to answer questions students were having problems with. I've heard from others that Willis was there favorite kin teacher but he sure wasn't mine!
