Yes it is difficult to understand his accent, but after awhile you DO adjust to it. Bottom line, he knows his subject very well, and is a great prof. Lets you use a cheat-sheet for tests & if you like the subject enuf & don't mind studying for the tests, it is not impossible to get an A in his class. Very nice & professional whith a sense of humor!

All he does is read the powerpoint and there is a real language barrier. Quizzes are easy but if you don't know how to do the work attend class. He will only help you a little so don't count on him to show you how to work the financial calculator.

Nice guy and obviously hard working but has still a long way to go to become a good lecturer. Often hard to understand, and, sad to say, boring. If you've read the book you will hardly learn anything extra at his lectures. Do your homework, the same type of calculations will be find in tests. Read the book, take in-class quizzes, you'll get your A

Daniel is a great teacher, this class was really easy to follow and understand. He's Chinese and sometimes hard to understand because of his accent and somewhat due to mumbling. Come to class, do some homework sometimes and you'll get an 'A'. His quizzes are really just ways to get people to attend class, open book/notes.

Very good professor. He is effective at explaining academic investment concepts, and he mixes in a bit of general investment common sense. Witty and humorous. Should go far in his career as a finance professor. I'm sure he could teach any of the undergrad finance courses. A credit to the ASU West business program.

Everyone should be able to get a good grade. Attend his lectures, keep up on the homework and use his exam review as a study guide. There's no surprises with him! I recommend his class!

Very nice, helpful professor. As long as you do the homework problems, you'll breeze through the course. There are no tricks on his exams - they are straight from the homework. Though he doesn't take attendance, you really need his lecture to help with the homework.
