one of my all-time favorite classes and professors. The material was interesting and useful, and Dr. Elliott was so fun and enthusiastic. He really cares about what we think, and is never rude about student opinions. His TA, Bob, was not so awesome.

Very awesome class! I learned a lot about food ethics and how it affects almost every aspect of our country and the world! Very interesting and I highly recommend! The material is a lot, but if you go to lecture and read the readings, you will be fine!

A straight A student, I freaked after the first three weeks I repeatedly failed homeworks. I went to class, wrote down everything. The TA could not speak English, which made things horrible. A week before the mid-term, I went to Professor Elliot and he basically retaught the entire semester to myself and another student. 99 on mid-term. 100 final.

Prof. Elliott may be smart but his class is far from easy. Be ready to go to class every day and take notes. This is not a class you can slack off in.

Prof. Elliott definitely knows his stuff. He is good teacher who loves giving examples, which can be really helpful. But just know if you take his class you HAVE to show up for class! He also likes to SPEED through notes it's almost impossible to keep up - even typing. If you get a good TA then your set. Just take caution - its NOT easy

He is a good teacher, but if you blink... youre done for. He teaches at lightning speed! I couldnt type quick enough to get half of what he was saying. Therefore I actually learned most of the material from his TA Brian Zaharatos, whose a great TA. But he is a nice teacher who gives tons of helpful examples. Dont think it is super easycause its not

Professor Elliot is awesome. He really knows what he's talking about. He listens to his students and responds to their questions in great detail. Take lots of notes, 2 tests come from them. 2 papers are also required about two books you have to read. Overall not too hard. Awesome class, take it if you have the chance.

Dr. Elliott is an amazing teacher! Ethics of Food was the most interesting class I have taken yet. There are 2 papers, a midterm, final, and volunteering component. I didn't do most of the readings and still got an A. Definitely recommend.

I had Dr. Elliot for Environmental Ethics and Food Ethics and those were both my favorite class of college. He is very nice, very clear, always has his lectures planned out and is an average grader. Not too easy or hard. He's very open to everyone's opinions and makes class efficient and interesting. Take him if you can!

Professor Elliot is an awesome teacher. His class is somewhat challenging, but if you study and attend class/discussion regularly, you can do great. I learned a ton in his class. He is easily approachable after class and is very friendly. I wanted to take another one of his classes, but it was filled :(

Did a great job explaining most everything. He really wants to help you out, and is very accomadating. I was actually able to relate a lot of the course material to other liberal arts classes. Overall, the class was more interesting than I though it would be, he's really nice, I would reccomend this class.

Dr. Elliott is one of the NICEST professors you'll ever meet. He's very friendly and is always willing to help. Class is organized, although a few of the other overenthused students took something away from it. Tests are somewhat difficult though. If you need to take Logic II, I'd highly recommend him.
