Comment:
Dr. Kauffman definitely has a passion for what she does. Educational Psychology is the only undergraduate course she teaches. Her lectures were informative, but got boring as she used no visuals or powerpoints. She was lenient with the assignments. Take home midterm and open book/notes final. A few short papers throughout the semester but not bad.

If you actually want to learn anything about the field of psychology DO NOT TAKE HER! If you have a choice DONT TAKE HER, oh wait she's the director of the program so you are forced to sit through her "classes". Sadly I would suggest not entering the PsyD program at FDU just based on having to waste your time and money on her...

By far the WORST professor I have ever had. She does not give specifics for assignments but then when you don't do what she expected in her brain she rips your paperpresentation apart. I pay $40,000+ a year to listen to her repetitive stories that are unrelated to the course. Beyond disappointed with FDU. PS don't waste your money on the textbook.

Educational Pyschology. Dr. Kaufman has to be one of the nicest women I've ever met at Fairleigh. She is helpful and funny. She keeps lectures fun by incorporating her personal experiences. Sadly, she does not teach undergrad courses often, but when you ever get a chance, take her. You won't regret it. She's an easy grader & fun all around.

Fantastic professor, really knows her information. Has a psychodynamic undertone to the classes, which tends to make it interesting. Very skilled, very informative, great professor to have. Tough on grading, but fair.

She is very nice when you meet her. But once you do something that just ticks her off - forget about ever getting on her good side again. She is not very professional and is very rude sometimes. Used to be a favorite of mine - now just a mediocre professor. Has a lot of clout. Is a bit of a scatterbrain, very forgetful and confusing (verbally).
