A wonderful professor who has a love for the material and an understanding of his student's needs. Will let you turn in work late if need be, but you need to do all of his assignments if you want to pass the class. As long as you do that and come to as many lectures as possible, the class is an easy A.

He'll give lots of funny, personal stories that relate to the material. He never gives homework and the tests are straight from the powerpoint so it's really easy to study for his tests. He provides lots of nonjudgmental perspectives often which is good for keeping an open mind. If you're looking for an interesting, stress free course, this is it.

He is sometimes boring with just powerpoints but he tries to incorporate humor. He is very laid back and a good teacher to take if you're stressed for your first or second semester. Only had one paper and two tests in a 10 week course so it was pretty easy.

This class didn't vary too much from SOC101 in material, and if you have the option to take 101 along with 103, he makes it worth the money if you need to take them. The class is a super easy A, as long as you get assignments done on time, and take note of his shorthand during the lectures. Anything that is important, he will circle or underline.

Professor Isamah was a great teacher for sociology. He cares about his students and makes his lectures fun and memorable. He ties his life experience into the societal issues that we discuss in class. There were 4 tests and a term paper that he grades fairly. Tests questions are pulled from his power points. Would highly recommend taking him!

Isamah is honestly the BEST prof. I have ever had. His lectures are easy to remember and everything you get tested on is in the lecture. Taking a lot of notes and having a good sense of humour is essential in getting him to respect you as a student. He relates course material to reality to make the subject easier. I wish he taught every class.

A very funny prof. and you will love having him, he has a slight accent but nothing to worry about, just make sure you take notes or you can print the slides a head of class and there is not a final.

He strictly teaches from the Powerpoints, which makes it easy for one to pass his class if you just pay attention and print them out or take good notes. He will often relate his teaching material to "real life situations" making the class fun! He is hilarious, and will use students for examples with context. I highly recommend him.

Awesome professor! He is super funny and relaxed. Even though most of the class is taking notes from the powerpoints, you do learn a lot. Talks about current events, and will debate with students in class (which I really liked). The essays are fairly easy. Recommend him for sure!

He is a fun guy. The class was very easy. As long as you show up and take notes you don't have to read the book. The four essays you have to do are simple and only two pages.

Cool guy/professor. Every so often he'll throw out a corny joke or two, but overall he is pleasant. The class went well for me. Just show up, take good notes, and study for the exams. Practically impossible to fail this class, if in fact you are going to college for the right reason, and not to slack off. Oh & there are a few essays, nothing major.

Does not cover the whole book and rarely keeps you for the 3 hour class so if you want to learn all about socialogy then don't take this prof. I wouldn't take him again. Work is fine but changes outlines so hard to follow along and take notes.

Nice guy but somewhat boring to read 60ish slides per class. Study powerpoints for test; easy grader on papers.
