Waits until last minute to assign at least 9 assignments. Not very well planned. Spent 2 weeks on one module only to have to make up for lost time by doing 9 assignments every other day. Would not take again.

Took BIO 112 in the Spring, and I can confidently say she is an AMAZING professor! She is really caring and understanding towards students regarding personal situations (don't be afraid to reach out!). A good majority of the exams and lab practicals are from previous homeworks, quizzes, and labs, so make sure you review and study past assignments.

I took BIO112 online and Dr. Kennedy has been one of the best professors that I have ever had. Working ahead and not waiting until the last minute to complete any assignments is the key to being successful in the class. If you miss an assignment, she does allow for it to be turned in after the due date and she is very responsive to emails.

I took Kennedy 2018-2019 for A&P 1 & 2 and BIO 111 & 112. She is generally easy to study for if you know how to. Exam MC are straight from MC homework and practice exams. Extended response is given in class. She generally gives out lab sheets that have what you need to know for lab practicals (which she curves) and lecture exams there is extra cred

I took her for BIO111. She speeds through lecture material and in lab for 3 hours when it doesnt take that long. For exams you are expected to study over a 100 possible questions that could be on a 40 question text and she give you 3-5 essays questions to study that could be on the test as well but only 6 will be. 35 minutes for 40 question test.

One of the nicest professors I've ever had, shes very understanding of personal situations and is always willing to help. There is a lot of homework but it has an extremely lenient late work policy and all her exam questions are for her homework so as long as you do the work you pass her class. I love her and would take her class again.

Dr. Kennedy is amazing! I took BIO111, which is a hard class. I took this class in the summer, so it was a 16 week course crammed into 8 weeks online with a lab. There was a lot of work, but Dr. Kennedy was always there to help when asked and was very quick to get back! I had surgery the first week, and she was beyond helpful and understanding!

Not majoring in biology? PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! I'm wanting to major in education, and she is what motivates me to strive to ACTUALLY BE A BENEFICIAL TEACHER! As an A B student, I'm truly scared I'm going to fail this class. Not helpful, never explains the labs, seems mad when you ask a question. This is your sign to chose another class!!!!

I took BIO 111 to transfer it to my university. It was hands down the hardest class I had ever taken, and I had taken higher level BIO courses at my top-rated university. The workload is absolutely absurd; at least 5-6 homework assignments with 40-50 questions each, two to three labs, two to three quizzes and a test in a WEEK. Would not recommend.

A&P is already hard enough to learn. This class made it harder. I took the hybrid and from 6-715 trying to catch all she said when she speeded through lecture then spent from 7:20-8:55pm sitting in lab not really doing anything. That's my biggest complaint in lab she handed us a lab paper and left us on our own. Gotta teach yourself lab concepts.

BIO 111 was the hardest class I have ever taken. Having said that, Dr. Kennedy is a genuinely helpful and caring teacher. She wants you to succeed in her class. If you are willing to work hard, you will be fine.

While Dr. Kennedy is a great professor, her class was undoubtedly the hardest class I have ever taken thus far. Unfortunately, lecturing is not her strong suit so I had to teach myself most of the concepts. Lots of memorization (Quizlet is a life-saver!). Two or three 40-50 question Connect homeworks a week. Study weekly!

Dr. Kennedy assigns a lot of work, and uses a system called Late Nite Labs, which do not work on a lot of computers. She allows multiple attempts on homework, tests, and quizes, which is nice.

she gives you all of these notes and expects you to know about 20 essay questions for the exam on top of all of the reading material she speeds through so much information in 45 min or so and then you spend 2 hours sitting in lab doing a lab that MAY take an hour tops the only saver is the note card she lets you use at for the final to help you

I took this class part hybrid and it was the worst decision ever. The teacher spends about 30 minutes speeding through chapters of material and then we go to lab and spend 2+ hours in there when really the labs only last about an hour to an hour and a half.she gives you a/b 30 essay ?'s to know for exam on top of all the lecture notes..

She's hard but easy at the same time. If you do what she asks, then it's easy. However, she asks a lot...there is a ton of studying to do..18+ hours a week if you want an A.

Dr. Kennedy is an awesome Professor. She continues to make learning, a very difficult class, easy and not as intimidating as it could have been. As an older adult I thank her not only for all the help and understanding, but also the patience she has dealing with the diversity of students. This was my second class with her.One more to go!!
