Did not have webex meetings besides the first day. He posted videos of him going over the material and responded quickly to emails. Not that much hw on alex and everything was easy to navigate online.

Took this as an online class and while from other reviews it seems he's okay in person, online was an awful experience. I felt that I basically taught myself the entire class and was frustrated by his lack of email response. When he did respond he only rarely was able to help at all or answer any question I had. His notes also had a lot of typos.

Mr. Albanese was a awesome teacher! Not a lot of homework besides Aleks and splits them up so your not having to complete 50 topics the day its due. He also teaches from the book and goes into detail (the hows and whys). Be aware that this is an advanced math course. I you are not ready you will struggle regardless of the teacher, so come prepared.

Tests worth 55% of the final grade. Amazing teacher. Funny/Sarcastic. The lectures and the online homeworks/quizzes have nothing to do with each other. During lectures he teaches from the book, very deep conceptual learning, the "whys and hows". Very hard tests (some from the homework and the rest if u get the concepts if will get it. (tough class

He's good at teaching, don't get me wrong. I feel that his lectures are very informative and he does explain the material. It's just the fact that other than homework, your grade is decided by a couple of tests and the final. Those tests, by the way, are not easy. Some material on his tests may cover things very briefly gone over in the lecture.

His advice in the beginning is to drop the class before its too late. Also, students test grades should not be penalized if he SEES a device out. He says its in the school policy but I checked the code of conduct, his syllabus, school policies, you name it, and it says nothing about taking off points for ANYTHING if you have a phone out.

3 tests worth 20% each, final worth 20% and replaces lowest test grade (potential 40%), signature assignment worth 5%, ALEKS hw worth 15%. Provides great test reviews. His tests are super hard and drug down most of the students. Started the semester as livley but just turned into a grump by the end. Will take 5% of test if caught on phones or late

Hes a very sarcastic guy so dont take anything he says to heart. study guides similar to the exams. If you dont study or do the aleks you will not pass. He will usually use the last 15 minutes of class for questions so utilize it. Clear expectations of students that if you follow he will be more inclined to bump you from a High C to a low B.

Very sarcastic and funny. Likes to joke with students. He cares about students' ability to succeed. He would always ask us when our tests in other classes were so we wouldn't have 2 tests in 1 day. He let people stay well past the scheduled end of the final to let us finish. He gives optional hw, but if you don't do it you will fail.

I loved math, always did. But somehow no matter how many late nights I had studying- I couldn't pass the tests. He reminds me of the kind of professors high school teachers warned you about. No sympathy what-so-ever. After the first test, he encouraged the students that failed to drop the class because math wasn't meant for them.

He is super sarcastic so take anything not relating to math with a grain of salt. If you already have a heavy course load I would recommend steering clear of any math course as the online aleks work is numerous and hard to keep up with. If you dont do the aleks, you will fail. Be committed. Professor Albanese also loves criminal minds.

This is so far the hardest class I ever take. Maybe he is good in classroom, idk but online during summer, it is just impossible. You don't have any video, you just need to read the book (which is no the easiest one) and also the guides he handle to you are no clear. DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS ONLINE PLEASE!. Btw, I am a good student who loves math.

Mr. Albanese is a good teacher. He guides you through the steps of solving problems to help you. He also provides study guides for every test, and spends the class time explaining how to solve what you do not understand. He is also very funny, and keeps the class interesting.

Mr. Albanese is a fantastic professor. I had him for Calc 3, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations and learned so much. If you do the homework and pay attention in class you'll do fine, if not then it's nobody's fault but your own because material from all of the aforementioned resources will appear on the exams.

This professor is very hard ever I took. He clearly does not explain well. No study guides, no notes, no formula provided in exams. He is very tough and hardly teaches students. Instead to take his class, please take with other professors and learn more. He is so hard and does not know how to teach clearly.

You dont have so much homework to do except for Aleks. Homework on Aleks is not about have-to thing. I think its your responsibility to do it. You cant blame your professor for not teaching you well. Every professor has his or her own way of teaching. My tip is, finish all of the Aleks homework and his study guide. Then, youll pass.

Mr. Albanese is a really tough teacher but isn't as bad as some reviews state. Was the class hard? Yes. Hands down one of the hardest classes I've taken in my years. Is he a good teacher? Yeah he is pretty solid. But you may find yourself teaching yourself at times. Would I take again? No I would not. If you don't like working hard, then avoid.
