Comment:
Prof Haggerty is a great choice to take logic with. You definitely have to put some time into studying, but Haggerty gives you all the tools you need to succeed. If you keep up with the LogiCola and book problems, you will do fine in his class. He's always willing to help outside of class. The effort you put in will be reflected in your grade.

During the lectures he did move somewhat fast but if you ask to go back he will and let you finish with no hesitation. He personally cared about each student and is very understanding about grades. I really loved his attitude towards the students and how he wanted us to succeed. Overall he has a good heart and will compramise to your needs.

He goes through PowerPoints fast and refuses to post them on blackboard until right before an exam, then deletes them right after. Class would be so much easier to understand if he provided those. His study guides before exams are helpful, quizzes are tricky sometimes but he allows 2 of them to be group quizzes throughout the semester

Brilliant man. Wants students to succeed and gives the formula to do so. In Logic, you must practice w/ the LogiCola software and pay attention/participate in class. He's patient with student questions, and makes himself available outside of class. Injects humor. In Philosophy of God, he "unpacks" difficult material & makes it more accessible.

Hardest class I have ever taken. I took him for Logic. His only grades are the exams that are 100 points each. The only thing he does during class is practice problems.

I thought he was a decent professor for Logic. Kind of dry, but I expected that. Lots of homework but not bad if you keep up with it and don't get behind. Tests are tough, but if you study you should be fine. Very willing to answer questions and help students. Goofy.

He is extremely confusing. His class is dry and boring. Quizzes are somewhat difficult and tests are extremely difficult. Lots of time studying needs to be put in to even get a good grade. Refuses to give an A+ on papers also.

He's the man. Gave a quiz every 3 weeks or so, only test was the final. Quizes were tf and mc. One or two pretty easy papers. Dry sense of humor. Gives good study guides.

Very nice man! Great sense of humor. His class is a little dry but he has clear knowledge of material. I learned more about philosophy than I thought I would in a gen ed class. Easy to get a good grade if you put the work in and remain awake for class.

This class was so boring I hated to go to it. I tried so hard to understand what was going on but he talks in circles. The test are very hard and require much studying on your own. Do not take him other teachers are more helpful and are way easier.

Dr. Haggerty is a great man. He is extremely bright and really cares about his students. He is a tad dry, but most of the students on here rating him are the clowns who fall asleep every class and then complain they do poorly. I think you all know the type I'm talking about.

BORING! I did homework for other classes during this class. Tests are mostly just essay questions, if you can read his mind and figure out what he wants on them you pass the course. BEWARE: this guy will bore you to death.

this man needs to get a hobby. if philosophy is all he cares about.. something is wrong. i fell asleep every class and all i learned was that "being is being, and not being could be being but only if a being is truly a being." do not take this professor. you will dread the class. if you know what is good for you, you will take my advice.

I dread going to this class because he is so boring. Usually fall asleep or end up doing homework during class because it is so hard to follow what he is saying. His writing is illegible. It's a boring subject to begin with and he doesn't make it any better.

Loves to laugh at his own jokes as the entire class stares in confusion due to the fact that nobody has any clue what he has been rambling about for the past hour or so. Take another professor!
