Comment:
Dr. Khan is a nice guy who means well. I bomb his exams (by my own fault, I don't give the class the attention it deserves) but the extra credit can make this course an easy A/B class. Unfortunately he is extremely hard to understand so I goto the lecture for attendance points basically. Do the extra credit and you have no reason not to do well!

He is 100% better then Paterno, always offers extra credit for notecards EVERY CLASS, always offers students to see him after class to understand, very accessible. He is hard to understand during lecture periods, you may have to learn some of the concepts on your own to fully comprehend. Tests aren't tricky and are straight from the information.

Very hard to understand, has a strong accent. Be prepared to do a lot of studying and learning on your own outside of the classroom. Lots of opportunities for extra credit and to come out with a passing grade.

Very easy class if you took high school chemistry. added 10% to your FINAL grade if you did all online homework and textbook homework. Hard to understand but very funny and cute guy. Definitely recommend taking him

Dr. Khan is very nice. He is sometimes hard to understand but if you follow printed lecture materials, and pay attention and read book you will be fine. He tries to make sure students understand what is going on. UTILIZE his office hours he is a major help! Even with homework, concepts. He likes to give lots of bonus point opportunity.

Dr Khan is very very hard to understand because of his accent but he is very helpful if you just ask. I wasn't too good with Chem in highschool and he really helped me with it. Just go to his office hours and recitation and you'll be fine! Tons and Tons of extra credit too!

It's basically impossible to understand him but just pay attention to your notes and looking online doesn't hurt either. You can get so much extra credit, if you show up to class and his exams are straight from the textbook assignments and webassign. He's old and cute and his jokes are terrible that you can't help but laugh :)

Very hard to understand with his accent. All quiz questions are taken off of web assign and the final is made up of previous web assigns and quiz questions. Study the notes. Class attendance helped me but wouldn't say is exactly mandatory. Study for quizzes and tests. The recitations helped a lot before exams and quizzes. He is very sweet.

Thick accent, often hard to understand, he breezes through the notes and usually does not explain things, leaving you to decipher the notes. Tests and quizzes were generally straightforward.

Worst prof I have had. His accent is so VERY thick. It was a good thing that I had alot of previous background in chem. easy material but you have to teach it to yourself. Not helpful. Unorganized notes on board. Says class is mandatory but if you skip he would never know. Would not recomend this class unless you are really good at chem.

Hard to understand, should not be teaching a core level class. More suited for level 300 or 400. Does not teach in a way that anyone actually understand the material. Quizzes are pretty much copies of homework we did the night before. He doesn't actually teach, just rambles off information. Worst class I've had at Duq.

Don't be fooled by his sinister super villian name! Sexiest man i've ever seen! Nothing greater than his knowledge of chemistry than his horse sense. Once you are used to his sensual accent, his class is a breeze.

He seems like a nice guy, but his accent is really hard to understand. Not only that, he acts like you are the one who is speaking with an accent. If you took chem before, you can pass without regular attendence. Also, he doesn't get through the material outlined on the syllabus. He acts like he's teaching morons.

Best gen. chem teacher on campus. I had Paterno first semester and I learned nothing from her, but Kahn makes it so much easier to understand. When you get to know what he's saying through his accent, he's a great teacher. Has a good sense of humor, also.

Probably the best Gen Chem teacher in the entire school, and a nice guy as well. If you can get around his Indian accent, then you'll do fine!
