Intro to Logic is the worst class that i've taken at Mercyhurst. Brown sucks ass on all levels. He's a boring person and a terrible teacher.

Avoid Enduring Questions if possible but Dr. Brown is a fun guy who keeps the rather dry material somewhat interesting. Definitely the best of the three professors teaching the course. Grades essays somewhat easily but some of his quizzes can be tricky. Participate and you'll be fine.

One of the best professors I've had. He turns otherwise dry material into interesting discussion. Funny, smart, and makes you think. Very fun to talk to and very helpful. Read your articles and you will do well.

Seriously, participate once or twice a week and you'll do fine. If you never participate at all, then you're pretty much garanteed a bad grade. Tests are not hard as long as you read the articles. He offers a lot of bonus points on the tests and with participation reports. I ended up with 102%. i'm not exagerating. Plus, Brown is pretty hot;]

worst class I have ever taken. He makes you feel stupid, like what you say is not valid and that it is not even worth him to listen to you. The whole class is worth 100 pts = you will die if you do not get an A on each test. His tests killed me and i did not get any of the topics. I was confused most of time. Just participate an annoying amount.

Dr. Brown is one of the best professors I've had. His class was extremely interesting, although it did make me question everything belief I've had in my life thus far, but in a good way. The tests can be challenging, but if you show up to class and pay attention, then you're fine. Participation sure helps too. A whole lot.

Class isn't too hard, but its out of a hundred points so if you mess up once, you can be screwed in the end. Every class period is spent argueing over the answer to questions to which there is no answer.. Is there a God? Do we have souls? etc. It can get kind of frustrating to have to sit through 45 hours of pointless discussion.

Very boring, makes you feel inferior. You must participate bc it is actually worth points. Makes you feel bad if you get something wrong. Whole course is 100 points so dont screw it up there's no redemption.

Seriously like the easiest class ever. Just show up and he will tell you what he wants you to know. As long as you can spit your notes back to him on the tests you will be fine. Grading scale is pretty tight, but has to be or else everyone would get A's. Make sure to participate though- cuz those points really help.
